In this apartment, which was freshly renovated in 2024, you’ll find everything you need. A cozy double bed, a Smart TV, and free Wi-Fi—perfect for unwinding after an eventful day. A kitchenette lets you cook your own meals, and you can also enjoy traditional home-style cuisine in the village. The wine fridge is stocked with a small selection of our wines. You can enjoy them in the evening at your leisure in your room, or at any of the cozy spots around Schoden. The Saar River, just a few minutes’ walk away, and the vineyards are particularly great options. From here, you’ll have a beautiful view of Schoden and the Saar Valley.

The train station in Schoden is a ten-minute walk away. From there, you can quickly reach Trier and the Saarland. Luxembourg is also just a few minutes’ drive away.
There are numerous beautiful hiking trails around Schoden, through forests, across meadows, and through vineyards. Schoden is located right on the Saar Cycle Route. Here, you can cycle for kilometers along the Saar River and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
In our village, you also have the option to rent canoes. Various tours are offered. For example, in Saarburg, you can paddle all the way to the waterfall in the old town. In the other direction, you can paddle along the old river channel—a nature reserve—away from boats, and right into the heart of an unforgettable tour.
