Our lodging was very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. It was within walking distance to the Altstadt, and the neighborhood was quiet. Our hosts were very hospitable, even picking us up. and dropping us off at the train station. It was a wonderful stay!

Claudine and Jörge were absolutely amazing!!!. They are the best hosts we have ever had. They made dinner reservations for us, offered to bring us food at the house when our daughter didn’t feel well. Also offered countless recommendations for things to do and places to eat. Claudine was very responsive with anything we needed during our stay. If it was possible to give a 10, I would give a 15. We would HIGHLY recommend this property for your next visit to the Black Forest.

The apartment was large, clean and extremely well equipped. Communication with our host (Claudine) was excellent from first contact through to our last day. The apartment is in a quiet location above Gengenbach with excellent views over the town and surrounding countryside. There are hiking routes of varying distances through woods close to the apartment. We made much use of the Konus Card provided to visitors paying the tourist tax. This gave us free travel on the Black Forest Railway and enabled us to visit several interesting places, including the pretty town of Schiltach and the Triberg Waterfall.We would strongly recommend
