In Vellmar, 200 meters behind the city limits of Kassel, our charming non-smoking vacation apartment "Ruhepol" welcomes you. It is located on the second floor of a three-family house in a traffic-calmed side street. There are plenty of parking spaces available and public transport stops are only a minute's walk away. You can reach the documenta exhibition sites, the Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe World Heritage Site and Kassel city center easily and usually without changing trains. Vellmar's Ahnepark, with its numerous sculptures from previous sculpture festivals, is also within easy walking distance.



"Ruhepol" has been available to guests since 2017. A bedroom with a double bed (1.40 m2), a spacious living room, a bright bathroom and an extensively equipped kitchen combine coziness with comfort at a high level. A room intended primarily as a study offers business travelers the space they need to develop and, with a high-quality sofa bed, a third person can get a good night's sleep.



A large, largely unspoiled garden invites you to relax in a seating and lounging area by a small outdoor pool between exploring our culturally diverse region. And if you are our guest in the fall, you will be able to enjoy the extremely tasty pears and apples.
