About Vacasa of Oregon Coast
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Nice home... a few issues
The property is very nice with great rooms and an incredible view. The layout is nice and plenty of room to hangout. The property needs a significant deep clean and bug bombs. We had spiders, flies, and ants. Not to mention the obscene amount of cobwebs. The house was clean, but as soon as you looked close it needs some desperate attention. Moldy shower curtains, filthy exhaust in bathroom, and old dirty rugs in the master bedroom. The yard is also decieving in the photos. It is not maintained. We were also out of propane for the bbq and the gate was broken. The property management responded very quickly. The last complaint is the description of the ocean access. The map the property gives to access the beach is bushwhacking! We had to duck under raspberries and walk through private property. Not very walkable. Much better to take the short drive to nearby beaches. That is fine, but it is advertised as an easy 5 minute walk, not so. I wouldn’t say it’s a bad stay at all, but those little things are annoying.
Darci, thank you so much for taking the time to provide this feedback following your stay with us. We sincerely apologize for the issues you found in the home. Our local manager has since had the cobwebs removed, and the home is regularly treated for pests. Both shower curtains have been replaced, the exhaust fan has been cleaned. She has also scheduled a carpet/rug cleaning. The yard is maintained in between guests by a private party and has since had maintenance performed and the gate has been repaired. Unfortunately, the beach access is not controlled by Vacasa and we are unable to maintain it. We hope to have the opportunity to impress you in the future.
Room with a view
It has a million dollar view. Oregon coast can be pretty chilly, so if your stuck inside, it is still gorgeous.
The house was very clean and well maintained and we had a great stay at the home. Thanks
The home is beautiful and well furnished. As a senior I found the beach access to be somewhat challenging.
Views only bested by Access
We loved the views and the overall layout of the home. It was private, clean and had enough amenities to make things work. The location and proximity to Newport was more than ideal. The hot tub was well used and loved by my kids.
We struggled a bit with the beach access and the strain it took to get to the beach from the house, but that is beyond the owner's control.
The house was a little short on blankets and spoons. That is about the extent of my complaints! Not much to complain about here. Wonderful place!
Beautiful home, great view, poor beach access
We loved this house. We visited during a partially rainy week and this was the perfect house to cozy up with some board games and watch the weather do it's thing over the ocean. Kids loved the bunk bed room. The master bedroom was nice and private. The sun porch is nice. Our only complaint was the access to the beach but as long as your willing to do a short drive to Agate Beach State Park, it's fine.
