About Vacasa, OR - Oregon Coast Office
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Maybe if it was cleaner
You could not beat the view... You are on a cliff over looking the beach and ocean with great sun sets. The property needs a little update inside and out, the kitchen needs a good cleaning and the painting needs finished, the overall house inside needs a deep cleaning. The lights on the walkway to the hot tub needs repaired.
The owner is currently working on the updates mentioned in this review. The kitchen will be painted after spring break, a deep clean is scheduled for April, and the hot tub is going to be relocated to a spot with better lighting. Thank you!
Cool place, great views, but could use a deep clean.
The place was cool to stay in. It had really great views of the ocean and could watch the waves and boats. But, the house could use a deep clean. Upon entering we were hit with a stale odor throughout the house. It looked surface cleaned, but the bathrooms and bedrooms could use a deep clean. There were yellow stains and dirty fingerprints on the doors and doorways; the bathroom floors had a black film around the perimeter; two of the bedrooms had leftover garbage and wrappers underneath the beds; the bedding and extra blankets smelled old and stale which made us go purchase some bedding to sleep in; there were light bulbs burnt out throughout the house; and the toilet seat in the shared bathroom didn't stay up.
We apologize for the cleanliness issues mentioned and will be sure to get those taken care of during the next deep clean. We will see what can be done about any unpleasant odors before that time. Maintenance will take care of the light bulbs and inspect the toilet seat. Thank you!

Great family trip
Beautiful view. We enjoyed using the hot tub and the fire pit. Close by to town.
Beautiful view but lacking some expected comforts
You will not be disappointed in the view, but there were some unexpected issues I didn’t see mentioned in reviews. The downstairs guests were partying late into the night, and smoking below our windows. If the downstairs neighbors are there you will be aware of it. The water in the showers didn’t get above lukewarm, and the hot tub cooled down pretty fast once the cover was taken off (it was nice and clean and ready to go when we got there though). The controls appear to be locked so you can’t turn it up. If you want to use the fireplace you can turn on a timer but it ticks quite loudly. You will want to bring your own knife for cooking if you plan on preparing meals, as well as salt, sugar, oil, etc. if you’re a wine drinker you might want to bring your own glasses as there are not a full set of four white or red type glasses. A really great living/dining space to hang out in, very comfortable.
We apologize for the inconveniences this guest experienced. Our guests are always welcome to call us if they need assistance in assuring quiet hours are enforced . Thanks!
A long Weekend Getaway
The view from the living room for sunrise or sunset is fantastic. The house has a old time feel, from when I use to go to the coast as a kid. The master bed was soft and comfy. Just really liked the place. Would definitely rent again. And if you had a large group, I would probably rent the lower suite as well.
