The bunk house is a 1000 sq ft house that sleeps up to 10 people. It has one bathroom with a walk in shower, sink, and toilet. Located between the house and the lake is a 2300 sq ft building with a large full kitchen/den overlooking the lake. Also you will find a large utility room that includes a large utility sink, washer, dryer, and another full bathroom. Upstairs is a large game room with a pool table, foosball game, and a card table. There is WiFi access. There is enough covered parking for two boats or vehicles to be under roof along side of the house and building. Behind the lodge is a huge private pier that includes a Big Green Egg grill ready for you to use. The kitchen comes stocked with plates, glasses, utensils, and appliances you would normally find in your home. You will want to bring your own toiletries, trash bags, paper towels, etc...

About Ben Parker
I am a professional outdoorsman and own 2 lodges at Reelfoot Lake.
Ben Parker purchased this Lodge in 1957
Why Ben Parker chose Hornbeak
I like the lodge because I have taken little things that I have seen while traveling to many lakes and tried to put them all together to form a really nice and functional place for a vacation rental.
What makes this Lodge unique
This property is great not only for fisherman but for family vacations, birthday parties, and family reunions. There is plenty of parking and plenty of room to host guests and plenty of awesomeness hanging out on the pier.
Relaxing time on the lakefront
If anything disturbs you here, you must have brought with you. Will stay again.
Everything was fantastic.
Property was clean comfortable, roomy and great location to everything we needed. Gas station/bait store was 2 blocks away, boat dock just down the road, great restaurant a few miles away. I would recommend this property to anyone from fishermen, bird watchers, hunters, families, and fishing buddies like we have that get together once a year. We have looked for years to find a location to go back to every year, and this is it. Planning on making this place our yearly trip from now on. Did I mention we caught a lot of fish? yes we did. Great property owners, meet us at the property. Thanks for the great vacation.
Glad to have you guys come and enjoy the place. We would love to see you back!
Great property to get away and relax
House is in great shape and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Great location on the lake and we enjoyed spending the evenings on the pier as the sunset.
Thank you and we would love to have you guys back!
My family had a great time at this lovely property. The owner and friends were so helpful and available. The sunsets were gorgeous. The kitchen is so nice and opens to a den area and this is where we enjoyed meals and movies. Upstairs in the game room, the guys had a blast playing pool. We enjoyed the deck/dock and fished non stop! There is also a boat launch close that we used so that we could fish on the other side of the lake. There is a place to tie up boat for the nite at the dock. The sleeping quarters were separate and that was great for the old folks who turned in early. We highly recommend this property for relaxing, fishing and hanging out with family.
A relaxing retreat
We spent the weekend here and it was a lovely place with a large kitchen and beautiful view of the lake. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The house was clean and always cool. It's a perfect family getaway location.
Thanks and glad you had fun with your family!
Family Spring Break Vacation
Family of eleven, six adults and five children enjoyed two nights together playing games, eating, watching television and enjoying each others company. We enjoyed the game room playing pool and cards. The lake view outside the glass doors of the great room was beautiful and relaxing. The house was well stocked, clean, and had everything we needed. The separate areas for sleeping, eating and lounging worked out well for us. There were good restaurants and pizza very close by as well as a short drive to Union City where we spent the day at the Discovey Park of America.
The actual lodge is in the small town of Samburg, TN. A short distance away is The Discovery Park of America located in Union City, TN. The lodge sets on the shoreline of Reelfoot Lake. Restaurants, the state park, gas stations, and state boat ramps are all within 5 miles of the lodge. Reelfoot lake is a great place to catch crappie, blue gill, catfish, and bass.
