About Tom and Carol Sharpe
We are a retired and very active couple, who love Oxford and Ole Miss and want our guests to have a wonderful experience while visiting Oxford. Tom was a research professor at Ole Miss for 25 years; Carol was in small business in Columbia, Missouri before Tom brought her down to the little bit of heaven known as Oxford. We have grown children, an elderly cat, and a wonderful Bassett Hound who loves every living person and thing on this earth.
Tom and Carol Sharpe purchased this Apartment in 2013
Why Tom and Carol Sharpe chose Oxford
We built this guest quarters in 2013 primarily for visits of family and friends. It lives in a Historic Preservation District and matches the architecture of the main house, which was built in 1896. We think you will find it to be very charming.
What makes this Apartment unique
The guest quarters are located just 3 blocks from the Oxford Square, which bustles with shopping, restaurants and night life. It is located on a second story and has a marvelous view of the old, heavily wooded neighborhood. It features an open living room/kitchen/dining area with vaulted ceilings and hardwood (bamboo) floors, and has a Jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. The apartment is flooded with natural light during the day and provides privacy at night.

Perfect spot in Oxford
This is the perfect spot for a stay in Oxford! Its a great location; walking distance to everything on the square. Tom and Carol were very gracious and accommodating, and they left a complimentary bottle of wine and gourmet coffee for us. Would definitely stay here again!
Immaculate, convenient, charming
This apartment has everything you need, in a quiet neighborhood within easy walking distance of the square. Highly recommended!
Cozy, Beautiful and Great Location
My family of 4 stayed Nov. 10-12, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This garage apartment had every amenity you could ask, was within walking distance of the square and completely immaculate. Tom and Carol even provided us with a complimentary bottle of wine. Our two younger children slept on the air mattress which was very comfortable. I highly recommend this property and will definitely try to rent it again in the future.
Great location for a beautiful apartment! Very clean and welcoming!
Fantastic location and great ameneties
I stayed in Tom and Carol's guest quarters for a week while visiting the campus. What a great spot with very gracious hosts (and an awesome dog Winston)! The kitchen is spacious with new LG appliances, and I was greeted with a bag of local coffee and a bottle of wine. The full-size washer and dryer certainly made light travel easier. The location is superb with less than 5 minutes walk to the Square. The guest quarters are located over the garage of the owners and it new construction in the last 5 years. Their price is better than a hotel, and you get so much more room, with guaranteed quiet. I will definitely be back!! Thank you, Tom, Carol and Winston!
