Acerca de este alojamiento
Nature retreat in the Bernese Oberland / Haslital
Welcome to Our Charming Family Chalet
Welcome to our beloved family chalet, nestled on a sprawling, private 30,000m² plot in the beautiful Gadmertal valley. Step outside and discover a serene landscape—perfect for relaxing, playing, or simply soaking in the majestic mountain views.
Inside, our spacious home comfortably sleeps up to 13 guests. It features five bedrooms, two fully equipped kitchens, two bathrooms, and two living/lounge areas.
The Space
A short historical note: The house was built by our ancestors in the 1930s (mostly by hand) and was then lovingly renovated by our parents (new roof, new windows, and interior finishing—much of it also done by them). We use it as our family holiday home but are happy to share the joy with others.
The upper and lower floors are separated with two private entrances, as the house was originally planned as two separate apartments. This separation also provides excellent sound insulation. Although it is an old wooden house, we made sure to add soundproofing during the renovation, so movement upstairs is minimally noticeable downstairs.
As the photos show, the property offers a lot of open space and countless seating and retreat areas to enjoy the outdoors.
Guest Access
The entire property and surrounding grounds are available for you to use. Currently, the agricultural land is not leased, which means you are free to wander through the slightly taller grass without any issues.
The nature surrounding the house is to be treated as such. Please do not make any structural changes, cut down trees, etc. Just relax and enjoy it.
For those with allergies or an interest: In one corner of the property, there is a beehive housing several Carnica bee colonies. They are generally very non-aggressive (our parents always work without veils) and should not affect your stay in any way. If you see our parents on the property, interested guests are welcome to ask about the beehive. Depending on the situation and time, a guided visit inside the beehive may be possible. If you arrange this with us before your stay, we can potentially schedule an appointment for you.
