Welcome to our cozy “Vacation Apartment 6” with a sunny balcony—perfect for enjoying the North Sea air and a peaceful day. This accommodations are ideal for 4 people looking to relax in a beachfront setting. Just a short 5-minute walk and you’ll be at the South Beach!

You’ll find an optimal floor plan featuring a living area, dining area, separate bedroom, kitchenette, shower room, entryway, and balcony. The vacation rental is comfortably furnished; and maritime-themed accessories give the place that perfect North Sea vibe for your vacation by the sea.

Enjoy your morning coffee on the covered balcony overlooking the garden or at the invitingly furnished dining area. After a walk on the beach, the bright living room with a TV (43 inches) and radio invites you to relax. You’ll have free Wi-Fi (50 Mbps) for browsing the web on your smartphone.

You can quickly and easily prepare a vacation breakfast, snacks for your outing, or delicious meals in the kitchenette, which features a 2-burner glass-ceramic stove, a microwave, and a dishwasher. In addition, various small appliances are available, such as a coffee maker (which can also use coffee beans), a kettle, a toaster, and a smoothie maker.

When the sun sets on Borkum, the separate bedroom with a comfortable double bed (2 x 90 x 200 cm) promises a restful night’s sleep. A wardrobe provides space for your vacation wardrobe. Two additional guests can sleep in the living room on the comfortable fold-out bed with 2 mattresses (2 x 80 x 200 cm). There is also a closet here for storing clothes (with compartments but no hanging rod).

The well-maintained shower room adds to the comfort of your stay.

For our younger guests, a high chair is part of the standard furnishings.

The south-facing balcony is equipped with an electric awning. Electric exterior roller shutters are installed throughout the apartment.

Please note: The apartment is located on the “1st floor” (3 steps up). A washing machine and dryer are available for shared use in the building, and there is a clothes drying rack in the garden. There is a small wall-mounted clothes rack on the balcony. You can park your car in a private parking space, and there is a designated spot for bicycles. This is a non-smoking property, and pets are not allowed; we appreciate your understanding.

Ahoy and a warm welcome to “Oma Hanna’s Borkum Stuuv”!

The house is situated in a beautiful location right on the island’s south beach, just a few minutes’ walk across a row of dunes from the sea. Sunbathing areas, beach tents, and a swimming area supervised by the DLRG make this stretch of beach particularly attractive for families. The “Greune Stee” nature reserve is also located right near the house—an ideal starting point for walks and bike rides in nature!

The beautiful promenade, with its cafés, restaurants, and connection to the north beach, is about a 5-minute bike ride away. The town center, where you can leisurely stroll through small shops, is about a 6-minute ride away.

Borkum offers a wide variety of activities for your vacation—such as mudflat hikes, bike tours, water sports, or horseback riding on the beach. Cultural activities are also available, such as exploring the island’s three lighthouses (the Old, New, and Small Lighthouses), visiting the Dykhus Local History Museum, or touring the Borkumriff national park ship in the sheltered harbor.
