At an altitude of 1,600 m above Lake Traunsee lies the cozy Hochteinhütte on the Feuerkogel—right in the heart of the car-free Feuerkogel hut village in Upper Austria. The combination of a sunny high-plateau location, rustic mountain hut charm, and modern amenities makes it the perfect retreat for families, groups, and nature lovers.

With 130 m² of living space, the cabin can accommodate up to 12 people. From the terrace, guests can enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view across Lake Traunsee all the way to Linz. The family-friendly Feuerkogel ski area is right on your doorstep—featuring a ski kindergarten, ski school, and cozy alpine huts for culinary breaks.

You can easily reach the cabin via the Feuerkogel aerial cableway (for a fee). You can park your car at the aerial cableway parking lot in Ebensee. Pets are welcome.
