In the warmer months, the idyllic Lake Afritz and the surrounding Nockberge mountains invite you to spend relaxing hours by the water, hikes through the countryside and wonderful cycle tours. When the snow falls, the area transforms into a winter paradise and you can enjoy cross-country skiing, tobogganing and leisurely winter walks. The lively town of Villach is just a short drive away and is ideal for a varied excursion with cafés, culture and a relaxed stroll through the town.
