About Vacasa, OR - Oregon Coast Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Perfect dog friendly/family cottage at Cannon Beach

 • 5 of 5

Just a block off the beach and with a view of sunset from the front patio. Perfect size for our family of 4 plus dog. Nicely furnished and easy to keep clean/free of sand etc after beach hikes. Enjoyed very much!

Cannon beach is lovely. We visit twice a year.

The plumbing in the

kitchen needs some work. It was very hard to get hot water to wash the dishes. I was surprised that there was not a dishwasher. The two lounge chairs in the living room need to be replaced. They are very worn. The onsite manager was very helpful with all our needs. The DVD cable was bad and he replaced it promptly. Very helpful gentleman. His first name was Michael.

Great location to town and the beach

 • 4 of 5

It's a nice little two bedroom house, which is just a block away from the beach and about 3 blocks from downtown. It was nice to have a fully equipped kitchen. However make sure to go grocery shopping in seaside's Safeway. The places in town are very expensive and don't have a big selection. The house was comfortable, but could use a little TLC, like fresh paint on the walls, and updated furniture in the living room. Only one bathroom, but there was plenty of hot water for my whole family, 4 of us. I would suggest they need to get a mat for the bottom of the tub, super slippery. Plenty of towels. There is also a full size washer and dryer, which was great. Its a cute cottage.

Pleasant bungalow

 • 4 of 5

Comfortable, enough space, all the basics--coffee maker, wine pull, etc. Close to everything. Right on the main street, so not as quiet as some, but perfectly ok for us. Priced a little high, but since we just wanted one night at fairly short notice, it was ok. Most important things all there--clean, comfy beds, helpful staff.

Great Place to stay

 • 5 of 5

My wife and I hadn't been to Cannon Beach in about 10 years. It was just us and our two dogs. We stayed the week before Memorial Day weekend 2017 because we wanted to have our vacation before the summer rush. It was our first time renting a house for vacation and it was great. It just gives you that comfort of home that a hotel can't give. We had been told by family to get a place that has a washer and dryer. Glad I took that advise cause we did about 4 loads of laundry while we were there mainly because we had to give our pups a bath every night after getting back from the beach. Another plus if you have dogs, there is a hose right outside the back door which came in so helpful when getting back from the beach to get all the sand off the dogs.

I was really surprised about how nice the plates, glasses, cooking utensils were, two cutting boards. We had planned to cook all of our breakfast and three dinners at the house. We went out for all our lunches and one dinner as it can get really expensive to eat out three times a day for a week and I didn't want to put on 10 pounds. If I had one thing I wound of changed, I would have brought my own sauté pan from home. The ones in the home have lost there non stick so even with cooking spray food stuck to the pans. Not a problem because the pots are in really good condition so the second day I used the biggest pot which food didn't stick to to make my bacon and scrambled eggs.

The house was great. I would say it's about 650-700 square feet. Main bedroom has a closet the second room doesn't but has a large dresser for all you clothes. On the back of the door it had like 4-5 hooks to hang clothes. I was a little bit worried at first because the house is on S. Hemlock St. and all the cars driving by buy it didn't bother us at all. With the front window open you can here the waves from the beach. We loved that it was maybe a three minute want to downtown. I was really happy with my stay. We had looked at houses on the beach but for double if not more, we decide with this home a block from the beach. It was maybe a 45 second walk to the sand. The extra money we saved not getting a house with ocean views just went to buying more things from the local shops and restaurants.
