About the property

This is a brand-new unit that was purchased in 2014. It is the perfect place for a family getaway, whether you're coming from the front range, or across the country. Winter or Summer, you will have lots of activities to choose from. Ski-in/ski-out access to family friendly Granby Ranch including night skiing. Snow shoeing, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, and ice fishing are all available. You are also only 15 minutes away from Winter Park Ski Resort and 1.5 hours from Steamboat Springs.

In the Summer you can take the chairlift right out the back door to miles of world-class mountain bike and hiking trails. Granby Ranch has a great 18-hole golf course and there are 2 other 18-hole courses within 10 miles. 20 minutes away is Grand Lake and Rocky Mountain National Park. Grand Lake offers boating, fishing, swimming and is a great example of an unspoiled Colorado mountain town. Rocky Mountain National Park offers some of the most spectacular views in the country where you can hike the Continental Divide.

Just steps down the road is the Fraser River which offers miles of fly fishing.

The condo is a 2 bedroom 2 bath unit that over looks the Granby Ranch ski resort. There is a great deck to enjoy a morning coffee or an evening wine. We offer a stocked kitchen with everything you need to cook full meals and save money from eating out all the time. There is a gas fireplace, TV, and Blu-Ray/DVD player in the living room. High-speed WiFi is available in the unit. The master bedroom has a queen size bed with a private 5-piece master bath. There is a stackable washer and dryer in the unit as well.

The building offers a common area with Wifi, fire place, couches, books, board games, ski lockers, heated covered parking.

Although I have also lived in Atlanta, Arizona, and Vancouver, Canada and have traveled the world; Colorado is still my favorite place to be. I love all 4 seasons and what they have to offer. We chose this unit because we were looking for a mountain property that was not along the over-crowded I-70 corridor but was close enough to Denver to make weekend trips possible. Granby Ranch offered the perfect opportunity for us to have our dream mountain home.

Here you won't find corporate resort dominated businesses where everyone has their hands out looking for more of your money. What you will find is a low-pressure, fun, relaxed environment where you can go at your own pace. Ever since first stumbling on Granby Ranch, we dreamed of one day owning a place here and now we finally do.

Really great condo--very clean and spacious.

Another great vacation at Base Camp One @ Granby Ranch

this is our 5h time to stay at Base Camp One @ Granby Ranch and the first time in 207. this condo is slope side and being on the second floor was super convenient. the amenities were excellent, the linens clean and comfortable and the service was superb as we have come top expect when staying at base camp one. It's just so easy! Both Granby Ranch and Base Camp One are well kept secretes. We can't imagine a ski vacation anywhere else. We have visited many other ski resorts over the years and have done day trips to Winter Park while staying at Base Camp One; both times, we were reminded of just how much we love the convenience, quality, service and charm of Granby Ranch. We are all intermediate to advanced skiers and are not disappointed with the available terrain at Granby Ranch. Being 42 and an avid skier, I actually like the shorter runs as it gives my tired legs time to recover and I would argue that the almost non-existent lift lines actually make for more time skiing than most any other resort in Colorado. Don't miss an opportunity to visit Granby in the Low-Season between Christmas and Spring Break! its by far the best time to experience this excellent resort and the kids can miss a few days of school! Additionally, the Grill has a wonderful menu at half the cost of the big resorts. We ate every lunch at the same table and the staff was super friendly. keep in mid that the meals at the Grill can be split and can actually be about the same cost as eating at the cafeteria style restaurant on the second floor. Bang for the Buck factor at Granby Ranch / Base Camp One is off the charts! if given a chance, you will most certainly make this an annual event as we have done.

Excellent condo and location

The unit was as advertised! Very clean and up dated. The location is great for kids. We would ski in the morning, then come in for lunch and let them warm up then head back out for the afternoon. Having a locker is such a nice amenity. The owner was excellent to work with and we had no issues. Look forward to staying here again on our next ski vacation in Jan.
