The Bee Yurt, Drôme Provençale

Located 7 km from Buis-les-Baronnies, in the heart of the Baronnies Provençales Regional Nature Park, the Bee Yurt awaits you in the hamlet of Les Sias, in La Roche-sur-le-Buis. Environmental respect is at the core of this eco-friendly, organic, and natural retreat, with a permaculture vegetable garden, chickens, and beekeeping. Electricity is supplied by solar panels. The yurt sits on its own private, sheltered plot. As it is in a "white zone," there is no mobile phone reception or Wi-Fi. The yurt features two terraces, a fully equipped outdoor kitchen (fridge, stove, mini oven, dishes), and a bathroom accessible directly from inside (shower, sink, composting toilet). Enjoy an unusual stay at 700 m altitude, at the foot of La Banne mountain (1,400 m), perfect for relaxation, outdoor activities, and adventure. Nearby, you can try climbing, via ferrata, treetop courses, hiking, and discover the region’s unique wildlife and plants. A minimum stay of 2 nights is required.
