Great get away spot!

  • 5 of 5

It is a bit off the beaten path to get to this property, about a 10 minute drive on a dirt road off the highway down to the house. After a few trips in and out it wasn't bad at all, just plan on heading to Tom's in Cascade if you need groceries, open from 6am to 8pm..about a 25 min. drive. The town of Craig is about 10 minutes once on the highway and Wolf Creek about 15 minutes once on the highway...so plan you shuttles and shop visits accordingly if you are fishing. Everything was very nice and Carolee was very accommodating where ever she could be..Fully stocked kitchen. Very comfortable beds in the house. No internet was quite difficult trying to check weather and flows and with the limited cell service 3G was almost non existent, you will need to head to Craig or Wolf Creek Angler for service and wifi. She will have internet soon so if you can't live without service bare this in mind. For the most part it was nice not having to communicate! Highly recommend it. Great neighbors too.

Owner's Response: Thank you for the review, I appreciate it. The only comment I would make is that there is dial- up internet which is very slow. We are scheduled to have cable with high speed internet available in the summer of 2017 and it will be installed at the house. I do recommend that renters get groceries in Great Falls or Helena before going out to the house. There is a small grocery as mentioned, Tom's , in Cascade.

Great place for family

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our time in this house! It was a great location and great layout for us to spend time as a family fly-fishing the legendary Missouri River. What really made the trip so great ~ was the comfortable, welcoming feel of the house. We stay in VRBO locations often (we also rent our own home near Glacier National Park) and always feel most comfortable staying in a house that feels loved; a house that the owner uses themselves ~ not just a rental or income property. We hope to stay again, for longer!

Mamasue

Outstanding in every way! Fantastic view of the river with fish rising right off the bank every evening. House truly has everything you need, plus more, like a gourmet kitchen, and wonderful deck where we usually had dinner. Beds very comfortable, especially after a long day fishing. It was unseasonably hot then and the A/C was just a perfect asset. We have already booked it for next year.

Beautifully maintained home!

  • 5 of 5

We rented this home to visit with family and to fish the Missouri. The view of the river from the house and deck is wonderful.

The house has every amenity and is spotless. We look forward to returning next year!

Excellent getaway

  • 5 of 5

I stayed here with a group of guys and fished for the week. The house had everything we needed and more. The kitchen and living areas are spacious and very nice as well. We were able to prepare large meals for the group with the kitchen tools that were there. The back deck overlooking the river is reason enough alone to stay here. You can catch fish right outside. Would definitely recommend and also would consider again if I ever head back to the area.
