Great location; receptive host; beautiful property!
Great place, great host. I cannot say anything negative and Andrew was great to deal with. Excellent stay.
Excellent hospitality in Falmouth
Andy was a great host. Very responsive to emails and provided a lot of information and tips. The house was immaculate with all the amenities needed for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. The hot tub was fantastic. We will just have to come back again in the summer to enjoy the pool as well.!
Great getaway spot
Stayed here for a weekend while visiting the Portland area for a wedding. The house was perfect, everything is exactly as it's described in the listing and it's even nicer in person. It's far enough out and the backyard is private enough that you would think you were out in the country. Yet it's only about a 10-15 minute ride (w/ traffic) to downtown Portland and very close (a couple miles) to a number of great breweries.
The owners provided excellent communication that ensured a smooth arrival and checkout. They seem to take great care in ensuring their guests have what the need.
10/10 would stay again
Great location, perfect home!
My husband and I, our daughter and her friend, as well as 2 very good friends visited Andy's Retreat in mid August. We were looking for a change of pace and were not disappointed. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood, very spacious, nicely decorated and very comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials needed to prepare meals. We were thrilled with the comfy mattress, soft pillows and high quality linens, which made sleeping a true luxury.
We spent a lot of our time in the sun room just off of the kitchen which has a full view of the backyard. A nice room to read or watch TV. The private backyard was very cozy. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, grilling, and dining on the patio as well as the covered deck. Smore making was a hit as well. The location was perfect for exploring the area and short trips into Portand. Parking at the house was easy as there is a private driveway.
I can’t say enough about the service we received from Andy. He truly went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. He was easy to get a hold of for any questions, gave us advice and recommendations for many activities and restaurants in the area as well as Bangor and Acadia. He even came by and blew up a raft for us to use in the pool :)
This was truly a great experience. I highly recommend this rental. We would love to come back sometime!
Property was clean and as shown in pictures. Pool and jacuzzi was immaculate. Andy was a pleasure to work with. Close to everything, would definitely stay again.
7 miles from Portland's Old Port and a quick 20 minutes to LL Bean and Freeport outlet stores.
