Our Finistère is characterised by its beautiful, unspoilt nature and is not at all as crowded as other tourist areas of Brittany. Why not stay in the peace and quiet of Finistère and organise a few beautiful excursions if you feel like it? If you ever find the "hustle and bustle" of the destination too stressful, you are in wonderfully quiet hands with us. Brittany has so many interesting things to offer, just have a look at the travel guide and you will find some very nice destinations in the immediate vicinity, for example the very picturesque, "British" Roscoff, the beautiful Crozon peninsula, or further south the Pt. du Raz, or Concarneau (famous for the detective stories of Inspector Dupin) or even the artist-hosting Pont Aven....and so on......you will love Brittany if you don't already do so Our Finistère is characterised by its great, still intact nature, and is not at all as crowded as other tourist corners of Brittany. A really beautiful holiday home directly above the fishing harbour of Portsall - with guaranteed magnificent sea views ! The imposing granite house has been completely renovated in a modern country house style. Doesn't every guest of the Finistère dream of spending the night in such a typical large Breton granite house? - That really is a dream! And then there's the roof, covered with thick slates. Large hydrangea bushes greet the holidaymaker in the garden - you even have a private parking space on the property (charging socket for electric vehicles included). The garden is fully fenced. From the sea side, the villa shows its best manor house side - of course with the typical 3 dormer windows that you see on all typical Breton houses here in Finistère. In front of it is a large stone terrace and your 1500 m² garden - with a direct view of the sea and the fishing harbour and the bay of Portsal - fantastic. And due to the slightly elevated position of the property, nobody will be able to watch you. In fact, you have this fantastic view of the sea and the bay from everywhere in the house, from all the bedrooms, the living room and even from the spa area. The house promises large volumes in country house style and the interior plays with the modernity and tradition of the house! Everything has been renovated, the kitchen is new, functional and practical and is open-plan to the dining area. All bathrooms and toilets have been renovated and promise high-quality materials in a modern ambience. A spa area with its own shower and large Klafs sauna has been created. In your sea view holiday home you have three bedrooms at your disposal - ALL with a view of the harbour and the sea. To the right on the upper floor is the master bedroom (bed 180x200) with its own bathroom; shower; bathtub; WC. Two further rooms also promise beautiful sea views (160x200 and 140x200 - we recommend max. 5 adults). Your dog is very welcome (registration required) - please no cats. In the beautiful large living-dining area is the showpiece of the manor house: the man-high old castle fireplace made of granite (a modern wood-burning stove has been installed there). In summer, guests can romp around on the large granite terrace and enjoy the fantastic view of the sea and in autumn they can enjoy the warming fireplace in the cosy living area after a wonderfully relaxing sauna session.

Portsal is situated in a unique natural landscape; certainly one of the most beautiful corners of the Finistère - the sunsets are magnificent directly from your house - visit the miles of beautiful sandy beaches around the beautiful harbour of Portsal.

When we were asked by the owner to look after the beautifully renovated house overlooking Portsall harbour - it was an easy decision - the house is one of the most beautiful in the region - traditionally built in granite stone - I think it's a great impressive manor house with great views of the garden and Portsall harbour.

The villa has several aspects that make it stand out from other holiday homes, namely an imposing rustic granite Breton style exterior; and a top modern holiday home inside - tip top renovated, modern and luxurious - all in country house style. Many aspects of the dignified property have been preserved - or originally renovated, such as the large arched windows in the living area, the man-sized fireplace from an old manoir, or the natural terracotta floor and the oak beams in the living room. The new kitchen has been opened up to the living area, and all toilets and bathrooms have been renovated. Tasteful tiles and modern fittings characterise both bathrooms - the highlight is of course the large sauna in the spa area. But actually the biggest advantage of all is of course - the fantastic location - the view is unique and more than romantic - a sea view; which you couldn't wish for better on your holiday - the bay and the picturesque harbour are practically at your feet - and the nice thing again; due to the slight elevation of the property, nobody can look in - you are "right in the middle" and yet unobserved and alone in your holiday home, be it on your terrace or in the garden.

Attention cats are not allowed !!! Dogs maximum 1 'dog !

A property in such a location - so close to the sea and with such a view of the sea is extremely rare to find as a holiday home in Brittany - and then with such a high standard! Not only the Breton manor house with its modern country house style, but also the surrounding area is wonderful for a holiday home. The large terrace, the huge garden and the magnificent hydrangeas around the house promise a relaxing holiday feeling. Your car is wonderfully parked on the property and incredibly practical on holiday - the small bakery is just around the corner and bars and restaurants are within walking distance. Beautiful walks to the harbour and in the bay are pre-programmed and the fine sandy beaches of the North Finistère are not far away, the first one even in Portsall. We promise you the beautiful region of the house offers everything that makes a nice holiday worthwhile.
