This detached holiday home dating back to the 19th century lies below the Castello di Romena and is surrounded by a large park with linden, oak and stone oak trees. A path about 300 metres long and lined with cypress trees leads to the property.
The 250 m² living area extends over two floors. The ground floor has a fireplace room with a suite, a large dining room open towards the fireplace room, also with a suite and access to the outdoors. There is also a kitchen with access to the outdoors. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, gas hob, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher and coffee machine. The ground floor also has a bedroom with a double bed and private bathroom with shower and WC and an access to the outdoors. On the groundfloor there is also a second bedroom with double bed and private bathroom with shower and WC as well as a guest toilet. A staircase leads from the ground floor to the first floor, with an open living room with a balcony. The first floor also comprises two bedrooms with a double bed and each with a private bathroom, of which one has a bath, shower, two washbasins and a toilet, while the other has a shower, toilet, bidet and washbasin. During the renovation, the architectural details of the old building style were accentuated, resulting in a well-presented residential ambience with some antique furnishing, clay tiles and wooden ceiling beams or wooden paneling. There is a little house nearby with a washing machine. A TV and a DVD player are available.
On the back of the house you can enjoy from the terrace with garden furniture and gazebo a beautiful view of the valley and the medieval castles of Poppi, Romena and Porciano. Approx. 40 m from the house is a large, fenced, circular swimming pool (water surface approx. 180 m², depth: 1.50 m; open in mid and high season with whirlpool. From season 2024 a portion of the large pool approx. 40 m². it will be heated, with night lighting, games for children and adults, with umbrellas, deck chairs with cushions and outdoor shower with hot water. Next to the pool is a summer kitchen with table, brick barbecue, sink and worktop .
In case of booking of up to seven people, the guests have three bedrooms with three bathrooms. If requested, the fourth bedroom with en suite bathroom can be provided at an additional cost. You can order a payable bread and rolls service (only from Monday to Saturday, orders and payment locally)
It is about 1km to the centre of Pratovecchio with shops. Near the house you can find a tennis court (1km), riding facilities (4km), and a 9-hole golf course (6km). Florence and Arezzo are about 40km from the house. It is about an hour by train from Arezzo to Rome. The property is completely fenced.
