Shopping, good restaurants - one right next to our holiday park - make your holiday a pleasure. Attractions such as the new beach bar with soft music and incredibly good value cocktails on a fine sandy beach just a few minutes' walk away give you the ultimate Caribbean feeling. Three kilometres away is an Indor swimming pool with water slide - Indore playground in Medemblik - for children up to 16 years approx. 5 km away. The nearest harbour is here - historic railway station for the historic train to Hoorn and the long dyke with jetty for boat trips. There is another large indoor swimming pool in Enkuizen, directly adjacent to a fine sandy beach by the sea. Spokjesland, also in Enkuizen, is a popular attraction for children up to the age of 12 and is very popular with young families or grandparents with grandchildren.
