You can therefore do your shopping easily, but thanks to the favourable location of the flat, you will be spared any disturbances. The flat is also just a 10-minute walk from Playa de las Burras, a 15-minute walk from Playa de San Agustín and a 15-minute walk from Playa del Veril. The world-famous sand dunes of Maspalomas are about 40 minutes' walk away (via the extension of Playa del Inglés).dreamlike - top floor flat with spectacular sea views. Two bedrooms. Relax on one of the loungers after a refreshing dip in the large air-conditioned swimming pool. An air-conditioned children's pool is available for children. Let yourself be spoilt by the sun, which shines all year round in the Canary Islands, while you play pool. You also have the option of ordering an ice-cold drink and a snack directly from the pool bar. The poolside restaurant with tables facing the pool offers delicious à la carte meals and a daily menu. In the garden area around the solarium and swimming pool you will find more than just a pool table. A table tennis table, a petanque area under the palm trees and a tennis court (equipped with a professional synthetic surface) are also at your disposal at no extra cost. There is a small supermarket in the apartment complex where you can do your small shopping. Larger purchases can be made in the shopping centre of San Agustin, which is within walking distance, where you will find a large SPAR supermarket and several bars and international restaurants. You are also just a stone's throw away from one of the best spas in the Canary Islands, where you will find various saunas, whirlpools and Turkish baths. The spa also offers professional massages. The flat is just a few minutes' walk from a bus and taxi stop, which offers you easy and convenient access to the other beautiful beaches of Gran Canaria (Puerto Rico, Amadores, Mogán, etc.) or to the capital Las Palmas in the north of the island. If you prefer to use a hire car during your stay, we can provide you with a private parking space just a few metres from the flat.The comfortable flat with two separate bedrooms is fully furnished and lovingly decorated down to the smallest detail. Silent air conditioning and high-speed WIFI internet are also available free of charge. From the large living room you have spectacular views of San Augustin, the Atlantic Ocean and the beaches of San Agustín, Las Burras and Playa del Inglés. You will even be able to see the famous dunes of Maspalomas in the background. The living room has a very comfortable sofa with a coffee table and a dining room table with four chairs. An LED flat screen TV connected to the ASTRA satellite allows you to watch over 400 English, German, French and other foreign TV channels. You can watch Spanish channels via the TDT connection. A DVD player and a carefully selected film collection in several languages (many in German) and a stereo system with MP3, CD and radio will make you feel at home. In the kitchenette you will find a dishwasher, a ceramic hob with an extractor bonnet, a large fridge with a freezer, an oven and a microwave. The equipment is completed by a toaster, a coffee machine, a kettle, an electric orange squeezer, a hand blender etc. A washing machine with tumble dryer function is integrated in the kitchenette. An iron and ironing board are also available. Both bedrooms have a large wardrobe and are furnished with very comfortable beds. The master bedroom is furnished with a large bed (160 cm x 200 cm). The second bedroom is furnished with two 90 cm x 190 cm single beds, the second of which can be pulled out. Freshly made beds await you on arrival. The modern bathroom is equipped with high-quality sanitary facilities and has an Italian shower. There is a hairdryer in the drawer below the washbasin. A fresh two-piece towel set per person, consisting of a large and a small towel, awaits you on arrival. They are located in the Atlantic Ocean in a geographical region known as Macaronesia. This also includes Cape Verde, the Azores, the Madeira archipelago and the Ilhas Selvagens. Between around 27° 38' and 29° 30' north latitude and 13° 22' and 18° 11' west longitude, the Canary Islands are located between 1,028 and 1,483 kilometres from mainland Spain (Cape Trafalgar), at the same latitude as the Sahara, Kuwait and Florida, for example. In contrast to the Spanish mainland, Western European time applies. GRAN CANARIA: With an area of 1,560.1 km², Gran Canaria is the third largest of the Canary Islands after Tenerife and Fuerteventura. The almost circular island has a diameter of around 50 kilometres and a coastline of around 236 kilometres. In terms of population, Gran Canaria is the second largest island in the Canary Islands after Tenerife. The capital is Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. In 2008, the island had 829,597 inhabitants. It lies 210 kilometres to the west off the coast of southern Morocco in the Atlantic Ocean, between its larger neighbouring islands of Tenerife to the west and Fuerteventura to the east. PLAYA DEL INGLÉS, MASPALOMAS and SAN AGUSTÍN: Playa del Inglés is a district of the municipality of "San Bartolomé de Tirajana" on the south coast of Gran Canaria. The main economic sector is tourism. Together with San Agustín and Maspalomas, which also belong to the municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana, Playa del Inglés forms the largest tourist centre in Spain. Due to their long, wide sandy beach with extensive dunes, the districts are better known than the municipality, whose historic town centre lies 23 kilometres to the north in the interior of the island. Nevertheless, "San Agustín" still stands out positively from comparable Spanish mass tourism destinations such as Benidorm or Torremolinos due to a significantly lower building density and a lower building height, even of the tallest buildings, compared to the aforementioned places. To the south of Playa del Inglés is the Maspalomas dune area, which stretches as far as the wetlands of the El Charco lagoon.
