Located in Varrains, this 88 m² holiday home accommodates up to 4 guests in 2 bedrooms and features a bathroom. Enjoy a fully equipped private kitchen with drip coffee maker, Wi-Fi, private TV, private washing machine, electric radiators and wood stove, as well as self check-in. Families will find a private high chair, a baby bed, and access to shared children's toys and books.



Relax on your uncovered private terrace or enjoy the shared garden. A shared barbecue is available for outdoor meals, and children can have fun on the communal playground.



Parking is available on site (1 shared space) and on the street. One pet is welcome. Events are not allowed. An electric vehicle charging station is 20 meters away.



The fully restored house is in the heart of a wine village, just 100 m from the bakery and tobacconist. Hiking and cycling trails are accessible within 5 to 10 minutes. The tourist town of Saumur is 3 km away. The castles of Brézé and Montreuil-Bellay, the Bioparc of Doué-la-Fontaine in Anjou, and troglodyte villages are within a 15 km radius. Homemade jam is offered. Bed linen is available as an option for an extra fee. Cleaning service is available as an option for an extra fee. Electricity contribution required from October to March.

Pretty rustic gite easy access to Saumur and the Loire would recommend this location to others. Owners very helpful.

The host and hostess are very welcoming, knowledgable about the area and pleasant to talk to. The property meets the description provided and is very clean and well maintained. A cosy nook.

This peaceful, clean, fully equipped, nicely rustic gite is ideally placed for exploring many of the attractions of the Loire around Saumur, not least the chateau at Saumur. In the tranquil village of Varrains, one is only minutes away from the extensive commercial facilities offered by Saumur. The hosts are friendly, welcoming, unobtrusive yet available for advice about their area. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Highly recommended. Our thanks to M and Mme Girard.

Nous avons passé une semaine dans cet agréable gite avec des propriétaires charmants . Logement bien situé pour visiter le Maine&Loire sud : Saumur, Montreuil Bellay, Fontevraud, .. les maisons troglodytiques... qu'on a particulièrement apprécié car le temps était maussade ... Très bons échanges avec la propriétaire Sylvie.

Très agreable séjour à Varrain

,Que de richesses architecturales et patrimoniales en Anjou. Sans oublier les vins de Loire ! Le petit village de Varrains est très bien situé pour se rendre dans de nombreux sites (châteaux, troglodytes, jolis villages). Et le gîte, typique de la région est très agréable, propre et bien aménagé.

alles gut, nette Vermieter! Es gab nur einen Punkt, der uns als Deutsche stört (deshalb auch keine Kritik an Vermieter, sondern nur als Hinweis an andere Besucher): Es gibt keine Oberbetten, wie sie in vielen anderen Ländern und frz. Hotels üblich sind, sondern nur Wolldecken. Diese passten auch nicht wirklich in unsere mitgebrachte Bettwäsche. Wer sich also in gewohnter Weise in sein Feder- oder Synthetikbett kuscheln will, muss es sich mitbringen.

Logement bien situé et au calme

Nous avons découvert une belle région , et étions bien situé pour visiter de nombreux châteaux , caves , champignonnières , maisons troglodytes . Le logement à 5km à peine de Saumur entoures de vignobles et au calme. Et merci à la propriétaire qui nous a fait découvrir son domaine, ses incroyables caves et déguster son vin .

Très agréable séjour en famille à Varrains

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour au coeur des vignes dans ce petit logement de caractère. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par la famille Girard et avons particulièrement apprécié la visite de leur domaine viticole. Le logement, sur 3 niveaux, est bien entretenu et bien équipé.

Gîte charmant, où nous avons passé quelques jours bien reposants. Très bien situé pour visiter la région (Saumur, chateau de Brezé, villages troglodytes, Doué...) Propriétaires sympathiques et disponibles pour faire visiter leur domaine viticole. Literie excellente.

Gîte au calme et village paisible

Location agréable,bon accueil des propriétaires, bien situé pour visiter les belles villes alentours, gîte bien équipé et calme , 15 jours passés trop vite, à vous de connaître cette expérience dans un cadre agréable. Bon souvenir.
