Villa Can Bernat sits enthroned on a small hill, its warm yellow colours contrasting with the deep blue sky and inviting arriving guests to relax and linger. The extensive grounds, partly designed as a beautiful garden, offer numerous places to do just that: relax. The grounds have pretty lawns, a pool area with adjoining sun terrace and lush Mediterranean flora, including a sizeable population of large trees. Tempting terrace and courtyard areas perfectly complement the outdoor enjoyment on offer. The centrepiece of the garden is the pool, surrounded by a tempting sun terrace with easy access via steps. You can make yourself comfortable on the cosy loungers and relax in the sun to your heart's content. The breezy natural shade under the trees protects you if the sun is too strong. The large courtyard next to the house invites you to romp around; you can sit and eat together in the rustic seating area. The main terrace with its attractive tiles is right next to the house. The solid dining table offers space for at least eight people to dine together while enjoying the view of the garden. The brick-built barbecue invites you to prepare and enjoy a freshly prepared dinner with regional specialities.







The light-flooded interior of the house immediately radiates a particularly charming ambience. This ambience is emphasised by the tasteful furnishings and the matching wall and floor designs as well as the lovingly selected decorative elements. The combined living/dining room has a fireplace and a sofa area where you can cosy up by the warm fire in the cooler months. The TV with satellite connection is also conveniently located here, so that nothing stands in the way of cosy film evenings. The attractive rocking chairs round off the atmospheric and cosy ambience. The beautifully designed wooden dining table right next to it is perfect for a cosy dinner indoors. Conveniently, the open-plan, modern kitchen is located in the immediate vicinity. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, hobs, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, filter coffee machine and much more; it has everything you need for everyday use. Upstairs you will find another attractive lounge area that invites you to relax and at the same time gives you the opportunity to enjoy a cup of coffee, play a game, read a book or whatever else you want to do undisturbed. No matter how much you love your travelling companion, you will enjoy being able to retreat to one of the cosy nooks and crannies here. The bedrooms are furnished to a high standard and decorated with style and character. Everyone is sure to find their perfect place to sleep here. Some of these rooms are furnished with natural stone elements, which significantly enhance the inviting overall ambience. On the ground floor there is a double room with two combined beds (0.90 x 2.00 m) and a single room (0.90 x 1.90 m). On the upper floor you will find two further double rooms (1.50 x 1.90 m and 1.60 x 2.00 m) as well as a sofa bed for a travelling child (0.80 x 1.90 m). The bathrooms impress with their modern look and high-quality furnishings.



The special feature of this property, among many other things, is its unique layout. There is another apartment in the house with a separate entrance, equipped with a double bedroom with two combined beds measuring 0.90 x 2.00 m and a bathroom (the only en-suite bathroom). The main building therefore has a total of four bedrooms and two bathrooms. This flat offers a very private space for both a single traveller and a couple.



The smaller fishing village of Porto Cristo offers two stalactite caves that are well worth a visit. Together with the Cuevas dels Harms to the west of the town, the Cuevas del Drach (Dragon Caves) on the southern edge of Porto Cristo are the most visited caves on the island. The newly developed tourist area of Porto Cristo is a little further south and is called Porto Cristo Nuevo. If you go to Cala Anguila for a swim, you can walk over to Cala Mendia, which is around 600 metres away. The beach there has fine sand and clear water and is less crowded. As the beach has a level entrance into the water, it is particularly popular with families with small children. If required, you can hire sunbeds, parasols and pedalos.



The striking Villa Can Bernat overlooks the sea and is located in an idyllic rural setting, very close to the pretty coastal town of Porto Cristo. There you will find a beautiful marina, a small beach and a beach promenade. The beaches of Cala Anguila and Cala Mandia are only a few minutes away by car. The journey from the villa to the airport takes a little less than an hour.
