The village of Ölendorf, where our Reetdach-Kate Ost is located, is set apart from the larger tourist destinations yet still centrally located.
It’s about 2 km from the Baltic Sea coast and the beautiful beach in Ostermade.
The beach is perfect for swimming, walking, playing, and more.
In the summer, there is a section of the beach supervised by the DLRG.
Relaxation and many recreational activities nearby:
Heiligenhafen with its pier, harbor, promenade, and shopping.
Großenbrode, featuring a pier, a promenade, and a lovely children’s playground right on the beach.
The island of Fehmarn.

The thatched-roof cottage “Ost” was originally built in 1810.
To let you experience the charm of living in a thatched-roof building, we’ve furnished this vacation rental to accommodate up to four people.
It consists of a fully equipped kitchen, an entryway, a living room with a dining area, and access to the terrace.

The thatched-roof cottage has its own entrance.
Parking is available for one car or motorcycle; space for a second vehicle can be arranged upon request. You can store your bicycles in the bike shed. The bike path to Ostermade—leading to the beach, a small supermarket, and a restaurant—is located behind our house.
The small, fenced-in garden with seating, partially covered by the thatched roof, is perfect for breakfast or a barbecue under the open sky.
