I needed to get away and this place was perfect. Beautiful view, beautiful home...everything I needed!! The home is modern and upscale. Kitchen has everything you need. Huge windows that look out to the perfect beach front view. Master bed very comfy! I enjoyed the BBQ and backyard speakers and lawn chairs for most of my vacation lol. The host lives upstairs but barely even noticed him around. The host was very available for any questions! There's lots of driftwood around and we loved having fire on the beach at night. Walking distance away is a cute coffee place. Even though the location is on main road, I didn't notice any traffic sounds inside or backyard/beach area. I have nothing but good things to say about these accommodations and great memories!

Exceeded All of Our Expectations!!

  • 5 of 5

This property is beautiful, with every detail attended to from start to finish! Watch the sunrise as you enjoy a cup of coffee on the deck, take a walk or a bike ride on the ocean side path that is right outside your front door. Gather around the beach side bon fire and roast marshmallows and toast s'mores, owner Jeff G. has thought of everything!! Jeff is warm, welcoming and thoughtful as he provides his guests with bikes, kayaks, snorkelling gear and more. The property is luxurious, spacious and immaculate. Our family of 4 had tonnes of room, and felt completely at home. We would love to stay again if Jeff will have us! We have recommended this property to all of our friends, and will stay nowhere else when we visit Campbell River again. Thank you Jeff, it was a week our family will never forget!

Every detail was covered!!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for almost a week at Jeff's house and it was an amazing home away from home. Jeff has thought of every detail you could need (including the laundry detergent). We LOVED being right on the water and one day a bald eagle was sitting on the rocks not far down the beach. With the wall of windows at the back of the house you have an expansive view. It exceeded our expectations. When we arrived Jeff provided detailed instructions on the property and even made suggestions on things to do and items not to miss on our trip. We went to the pier/dock in town where we spoke to fishermen and watched one catch a salmon and we even saw a humpback and an orca with binoculars from the dock. The street in front of the house is busy but with the walking/biking path you could get out and go. Jeff provided equipment and every amenity you could imagine. Thank you Jeff and I truly hope we get to come back to visit!!!

A great place to stay

  • 5 of 5

This is great accommodation, with high quality appointments and stunning ocean front views. Beyond that, we cannot speak highly enough of the owner, Jeff. He lives on the upper floor, but is obsessive about not disturbing his tenants, while always being helpful in every possible way.

The house is situated on a fairly busy street, so there is some road noise on that side of the house, but you don't really notice in the main living area and certainly not when using the high quality stereo systems.

We stayed for over a month and would certainly stay again if we hadn't ended up buying a house of our own in Campbell RIver.

Look no further, this is the place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

This is long overdue as we stayed the end of July, early August of 2015. I must say that we have rented many lovely homes and condos over the world, but this is the best we have ever stayed in. Jeff has a beautiful home with every amenity that you could possibly need. There is a well-appointed kitchen: dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, washer, dryer, etc.; you will want for nothing. All is clean and in perfect condition. There is a computer with internet for your convenience. Then in the family room, the entire northeast wall is just windows with an incredible view to the bay. From the comfortable couch, you can watch the cruise ships with their twinkling lights travel past to distance passages. We watched harbor seals and even whales pass by. There is satellite for the TV and a variety of movies and wide variety of music to enjoy. The dining table was by the windows so that we could enjoy the view as we ate our meals. The remainder of the home is very comfortable and extremely clean. The beds are comfy with soft sheets. Good pressure in the shower. Although we didn't use the backyard much, it was a lovely stretch of grass leading to the water edge and small beach. Many types of outdoor lawn toys are provided to keep everyone happy. We would drink our morning coffee on the stone steps to down to the beach and watch ships, boats and wildlife. An added plus is the eagle watching! There are two+ in the area. Jeff also has bikes and kayaks for his guests. There were 3 of us in our group, so Jeff was kind enough to round up an additional kayak for our use. What a lovely gesture. We greatly enjoyed our treks up and down the water. As others have mentioned there is a walking/bike path that runs along the street side of the home. It is enjoyed by many from the area. Down the path to the left is a wonderful little coffee shop right along the water. We stopped there often, good coffee and delightful staff and regulars. Down the road either direction are markets, shops, and restaurants. One of our favorites was the Socal Restaurant and Lounge just left down the road to the southeast. After a day of exploring, coming back to this home was so welcoming. Whether we wanted to watch TV or have a family game night (chess!), this place was comfortable and enjoyable. The home, the view, the amenities; this place has it all. We give Jeff five stars for his efforts to provide so much and to be the perfect host. We hope to stay again.

Unforgettable, unbelievable and wonderful 9 days in the oceanfront home in Campbell River BC

  • 5 of 5

In the luxurious oceanfront garden apartment of Jeff Goodwin, we felt (four adults aged 57-24 years) from the first minute of arrival, at home.

Everything worked and the apartment even more beautiful than described. Jeff Goodwin, the owner, lives on the first floor and our apartment was right on the ocean with a huge garden.

Bicycles, canoe, snorkel gear, barbecue and garden furniture, everything to use.

The views of the water can be seen from the two living rooms, kitchen, and even out of bed. What a waking in the morning! We even made a BBQ with our family who lives in Campbell River. 16 people came and all were so exciting of the beautiful and so wonderful place!

By car, it is five minutes to the city and the nearest store or coffee shop 2 minutes. Directly in front of the house is a walkway, on which you can run many kilometers directly on the ocean.

Coffee maker, complete kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, Wifi, everything was available.

Jeff is very concerned that it lack snothing for his guests ! He himself is very reclusive. We feel to inhabit alone the house. The garden was just for us. Baseball, football, badminton or simply hang in a deck chair and enjoy the view. These pictures of the views are unforgettable! Would to stay longer then 9 days there. Who knows? Maybe soon the Oceanfront? Sorry for my english :-)

We have made many trips and experienced a lot ... .. orcas, humpback whale and sea lions, was the unforgettable climax! There would be much to tell yet, but in a word, I can say it all: We were in the paradise!

Thanks for everything Jeff! (I'll be back) Marina
