About David Zimmerman and Roxanne Bartsh
Hi Folks... My name's Jack. My people, Dave and Roxanne, purchased this building in 2001 before I was even born. Dave has been working on renovation of this building and Roxanne owns Wild Ginger Boutique which is on the first floor of the building. The 3 of us moved into an apartment in December 2013 so we are right here to help make your stay as enjoyable as possible. I look forward to meeting you!

This apartment was clean and bright and fun to stay in.
We loved our stay at this property. We were a block away from a grocery store, a walk along the river, and the downtown shops and restaurants. We entered and embraced a weekend of small town life and enjoyed every second.
What a Fantastic Apartment
Upon initial entry my first thoughts were "if this was on the rental market, I'd take it". Perfect 1 bedroom unit to accommodate myself, my sister, brother-in-law, and my little niece. Well stocked kitchen and linens. Comfy, clean furnishings. Great light, A/C, and those 11ft ceilings, Wow!
We were up for a family reunion in Goodhue. It's an annual event. I hope to be able to stay here next year same time.
Everything was exactly as expected. Furnishings, wiring, and floors are new in a full-of-character vintage Zumbrota building. We were on the way north from southern Iowa and needed to rest for a day. This was perfect. It's not fancy, but it is spotless. Organic cleaning supplies suggested a safe environment. Price was good, wifi excellent, cafes nearby. Thanks for providing a haven for a lazy and restorative Sunday!
Cute, clean, stairs are a killer.
Cute apt. Cute town. Back stairs are a killer unless your athletic. No air, but a fan and breeze. Very clean and comfortable. Grocery a block away. Great delivery pizza.
We do have AC. The window unit was not yet installed when this quest stayed. This year we went from snow and ice to summer in a few days.
Yes, there are stairs to these second floor apartments. The front stairway has 2 landings and less stairs making it easier than the back stairs.
Very cute, very clean apartment. Cozy and convenient.
Everything was absolutely perfect. Clean, lots of space. Perfect for two or four. Grocery store across the street. One block from Crossings and the State Theater. All downtown restaurants and bars in walking distance. Access was easy and owner was quick in responding to queries via email. Bring some ground coffee... coffee maker is there with filters, but no coffee. There is a keurig type thing but the coffee isn’t that great like any keurig... wine opener was handy! Comfortable bed. High ceilings and feels really spacious. We had a great stay. Highly recommended!!
Perfect for a couple
Clean and has everything you need in a charming town.
Zumbrota is becoming a real arts community. Stay for the music concerts on the weekends at the Zumbrota State Theatre or Crossings at Carnegie. Check out the links for ZAAC and Crossings. If you need a place to stay as you visit Mayo Clinic, you couldn't ask for a nicer place to relax after a day of appointments. We are only 20-30 minutes from Mayo Clinic.
