Perfect!

  • 5 of 5

We had so much fun! We are planning to have our girls weekend here annually now. We thought we would spend our time in Red Wing or Rodchester which are pretty close but we found everything we wanted right downtown Zumbrota! If I had any complaint (very small) it would be the glass should be covered over the door. It was very pretty but the hall light shines right through and lights up the whole living which has the futon for sleeping. Honestly it bugged me so little i still gave them 5 stars.

Owner's Response: Hi Nikia, We’re happy you all had a great time; and thank you for the great review. Zumbrota is a fantastic small town with a lot to shopping, arts and entertainment. Thanks for the comment. I’ll be putting up a shade so you can block out the hall light. See you next year! Dave and Rox

Great little apartment. Very liveable, clean, and well stocked.

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in Zumbrota for parents weekend at nearby Carleton College. Everything nearer Northfield was booked and overpriced just for the weekend. We didn't mind the drive (about 30 minutes), as it was beautiful and easy. Simple booking, simple check-in/out. Apartment #3 is lovely and historic, though fully and thoughtfully restored and updated. Love, love the huge bathroom sink! Comfy bed. Nice futon in the living room and plenty of extra clean sheets, which we appreciated as our college kid decided to spend one night with us. Didn't need to use the kitchen except to brew coffee (which was thoughtfully supplied), but it appeared fully stocked for cooking. Great little town with breakfast right across the street. Totally recommend.

Zumbrota Getaway

  • 5 of 5

This was our second time staying at this apartment. Both times we were in Zumbrota for a concert at the Crossings--which we also highly recommend. (It's only a two-minute walk from the apartment!) The apartment is spacious, has an excellent set up for preparing meals--which we did--and a powerful air conditioner, a huge plus since it was 90° both days we were there. The place is well-appointed, with comfortable beds and easy chairs and a very clean, spacious bathroom. The owner lives right down the hall, so if you need anything, he's right there and is very friendly and attentive. We highly recommend this place.

Perfect for our needs!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in apartment #3 after a concert at treasure island. It was the perfect driving distance from the venue and the apartment suited our needs nicely. Beds are very comfortable and the building was super quiet. We will definitely keep this place in mind for the future!

Another wonderful time spent in Zumbrota

  • 5 of 5

Each summer for the past few years we have stayed in one of Roxanne & Dave's apartments in an historic building on Main Street in Zumbrota. They are wonderful hosts. The apartment is very comfortable. A grocery store, library, parks, walking trails and more are located nearby. We look forward to our trips to Zumbrota and Apartment #3.
