This charming Morro Bay beach home is pet friendly and a short 2 block walk to the beach. This home is just finished a full remodel and is beautifully appointed with attractive finishes. This is the perfect beach home to enjoy your vacation to Morro Bay! This 1 story home has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and sleeps 8. The kitchen, living and dining areas are open to each other providing a great space for family and friends to gather and dine. There is a nice patio area with a BBQ in the backyard along with some space for pets. The newly remodeled kitchen is beautifully finished with great appliances and fully stocked to prepare gourmet meals. 2 Large flat screen TV’s and wireless internet is included. The home has a 1 car garage and the driveway can accommodate 2 large vehicles. Please note the 3rd bedroom is off the garage and you have to pass through the garage to get to the living area.

Warm and Friendly Home

Great location. Short walk to beach. Short drive to center of Morro Bay and San Luis Obispo. The house had everything we needed for our stay. Would recommend and would definitely stay again.

There are great restaurant in Morro Bay. And plenty of shopping. We will return.

A perfect home away from home!!!

The house was very comfortable. We were 8 people and 2 puppies and fit perfectly in the 3 rooms. The backyard was great for the dogs to run all day long!

The house was very clean when we got there. It had everything we needed for our stay. Lots of towels, kitchen well equipped, bbq grill, washer/dryer... And much more! We felt like home! Would definitely rent again if we decide to go back to Morro Bay.

Very nice house, walk to beach

We really enjoyed our week here. The location is great -- walk to the beach, and close to the bike path/walking trail. I love that it's a more natural beach with sand dunes. We brought our bikes and biked to the park with a playground, and down to Morro Rock (have to go on some surface streets after the trail ends). Quiet little neighborhood. The house is very nice, no complaints. It was very clean. (I am somewhat allergic to dogs, but I had almost no allergy symptoms at this dog-friendly property.) Kitchen can be a bit narrow for multiple cooks, but it's a nice kitchen and we loved the stove with griddle in center. We had a full house with 8 people (3 younger kids), but it didn't feel too crowded -- we are a close family anyway. The back patio is finished now, not gravel like in the picture. Nice little patio area with 2 barbecues (1 propane, 1 charcoal). Backyard is very small, but there's some extra space on the side (RV pad) where the kids played games. You can access the 3rd bedroom through the patio area (nicer than going through the garage). In the garage were 2 beach chairs and a few small sand toys. We enjoyed visiting the tide pools at the north end of the state beach at low tide, lots of crabs. The kids also liked seeing otters and sea lions in the Embarcadero area, we took a boat tour to get up closer. Some reviewers complained about the check-out procedures, but they all seemed like common sense reminders to me (the dishwasher does not need to be unloaded). Someone complained about beds, so here's the scoop: Queen bed in main house is very firm, King bed is regular soft, Queen bed in 3rd bedroom is the softest (but wasn't a problem). The supermarket is close by, as is Taco Temple. 8^)

Great beach home for our family

We had such a great time at the Bali house with our family this year. The home was very clean and exactly as advertised, no bad surprises that we've had with other homes. The home was obviously just remodeled and the kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms were very nice. The kitchen was well stocked which was great for family meals. I liked that the kitchen, dining and living areas are all open, it's a nice spot to hang out. It was very easy to get to the beach, only took us a few minutes to walk. The furniture and beds were comfortable and clean, and it was nice having the second TV in the 3rd bedroom for the kids to hang out separately. All in all we were very happy and we would definitely come back. Thanks!

GREAT, just a few tweaks would make it EXCELLENT

The house is nicely decorated and has great beachside charm. The photos do make it seem larger than life, so be sure to pay attention to the square footage information, though the space served our needs as far as the number of people staying there. The location is nice and close to the beach and even our toddlers had no problem walking to/from the beach in a timely fashion. Along those lines, the house was also surprisingly child-proof, as there aren't too many gee-gaws, knickknacks or fragiles that could be damaged. Also nice were the sand toys available in the garage.

Most of the kitchen supplies/utensils were of solid to excellent quality. The appliances/cabinets are all high-quality and seem fresh, clean and new.

Areas for improvement include:

1) One queen bed that was incredibly soft and caused significant back pain. All of the parties in our group laid in it and sunk right in, and rolled right toward the center. The other queen bed was nice and firm.

1a) A reading lamp on the other nightstand in the queen bedroom would've been great.

2) Comprehensive checkout responsibilities: I've stayed in numerous VRBOs and have never had to do quite so much on check out day: strip sheets, empty all the trashcans, run/unload the dishwasher (running it is typical for the last day, but timing it in advance to UNLOAD is not something I've seen/experienced).

3) Insufficient supplies like toilet paper and kleenex: We had two families staying and had to purchase toilet paper midway through the week. Not a dealbreaker, but an extra errand that needed to be run during our vacation.

4) Spotty wifi. It plain didn't work in the master bedroom.

All in all, this house made for a positive stay. Some minor tweaks would make this a 5-star place for us.

Owner's Response: Thanks for your comments, we are always looking to improve our guest experience. We don't require that you unload the dishwasher, just load and start it, the housekeeping staff will unload, sorry for the confusion on that. We do provide 2-3 rolls of TP per bathroom a few boxes of kleenex and most supplies, but larger groups may go through them before a week is out. We will definitely take a look at the wi-fi to make sure it reaches the master bedroom. Thanks
