About Ian and Kristy Haworth

Hi! We are Ian and Kristy Haworth and we have have been married over 18 years. We have lived here in beautiful Bend for over 20 years and are raising our two teenagers, Clay and Shay. We both moved here from sunny Southern California and are no stranger to resort living lifestyles. We love to work hard and play hard!

We love to paddle board on the river, ski at Mt. Bachelor in the winter and everything in between.

Ian and Kristy Haworth purchased this house in 1996

Why Ian and Kristy Haworth chose Bend

This 1920's home was built at the time of the lumber mill on the river just south of the house. Many homes around us are actually old train cars put together by the mill workers to live in. Ian's parents live on the river right down the street and theirs is this type. Incredible history lie within these streets. Truly where the center of town began! We have had the privilege of owning this home since 1996 and is where we lived when we first got married. Sweet memories live in this home! And now, it is waiting for you to enjoy and build your memories!

What makes this house unique

There is no place like this area to live and to vacation! Most people don't use their vehicles to get around. Even in the winter it is fun to bundle up and walk to breakfast around the corner or to take the path to the Old Mill for a movie or concert. Everyone is friendly in the neighborhood. A smile and wave everywhere you go!

Perfect location to explore Bend

  • 5 of 5

This home really is in the perfect location! We walked almost everywhere we went - so much is within walking distance. The house is adorable and tastefully decorated, and it is located in a quiet neighborhood. Loved that the house is pet friendly and the convenience of the fenced in yard as we always travel with our dogs. The yard was really cute as well with a fire pit in the back. Thank you for sharing your house with us!

Can't say enough...

  • 5 of 5

Six days in Bend! What a great trip!

Needless to say location was awesome, walking distance to everything. Millers landing, Bend Whitewater park, Old Mill, Bend & recreation Park and of course all the hot breweries and dinner spots. Everything was right on point with making it an exceptional trip.

Can't say enough great things about our stay and how we were treated. Thank you Kristy and Ian! Can't wait to visit again...

Perfect Location

  • 5 of 5

This house is perfectly appointed with all the right amenities. The location just can’t be beat! My wife and I were able to leisurely ride our bikes to 8 different breweries, the river, downtown Bend and the Old Mill. Honestly the best place we have ever stayed at in Bend.

Great home base for exploring Bend!

  • 5 of 5

We had a fantastic time at this cute little cottage. It was the perfect size for two people and a dog. We loved being able to walk all over Bend from our house, and we enjoyed relaxing on the front porch or in the backyard when we were at home. The kitchen is well appointed and had everything we needed. The beds are comfy and the shade trees keep the house nice and cool all day. Thanks Ian and Kristy for a lovely stay!

A lovely home in a perfect location

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I stayed in the home over the 4th of July week. It was in a perfect location: a few blocks from downtown, a half mile from the Old Mill District, and about 150 yards from the Dechutes River. Bicycle riding was a joy. The neighborhood is very comfortable: most of the homes have porches and people were out in front of their homes. A very social area.

A bit of a warning: the home doesn't have air conditioning and it could get warm. We were lucky that the weather during our stay was unseasonably cool.

My wife and I will definitely consider staying in this home again. It was clean, tidy, cute, and comfortable. Kristy and Ian were a pleasure to work with.
