About the Property
A beautifully appointed, prof. decorated 3BR/2BA condo awaits making memories!
Conveniently located on the far west end of Tower 1 on the 9th floor and just steps from the elevator, you'll arrive to our 'home away from home' beach oasis.
You will encounter a spotlessly clean and well appointed kitchen, ready for cooking in...or serving take out/delivery on the balcony with spectacular Gulf and beach views. Several small appliances are provided for your use and enjoyment. This includes microwave, electric can opener, an efficient blender, a 4-slice toaster with bagel option capabilities, coffee maker, crock pot (so IT can cook all day while you play!), a waffle iron, various sized pots/pans & skillets, and bakeware/cookie sheets/and mixing bowels for sweet home-made treats.
The kitchen counter has a raised breakfast bar, and stools, while the dining table comfortably sits 6. You can watch the waves while preparing snacks or feeding the family, and can swivel the living room tv to keep up with the local news and 'events' channels.
The connecting living room has a full sized extra deep sofa and love seat in addition to two comfortable side chairs. The tv is a 50' LG, with inputs that are easily reached from the side for your tv accessories and 'toys'. A Sony dvd blu-ray is connected for your use and enjoyment.
The balcony can be accessed from the living room, and is furnished with 2 counter-height tables, 4 chairs and 2 stools. (there will be added seating in the near future..and quite possibly by the time our first guest arrives...but I just haven't got it yet to describe it! LOL). Electric grills are allowed on the balcony though none is provided at this time. You are welcome to bring and care for your own if you desire. It is our preference that you do not smoke on the balcony, but if you do, and any furniture is burned or marred your deposit will be forfeited.
The master bedroom presents with a beautiful Gulf view and access to the balcony. A king-sized leather sleigh bed with ample pillows and a faux fur blanket at the foot beckon for extra cuddling and long lazy mornings. Night stands with spacious drawers and a large dresser are ready for your clothing storage needs, and if that isn't enough...well there is a generous walk in closet as you enter your private master bath. The bath suite is complete with his & her sinks, a walk-in shower, and an over-sized jetted tub. After a long fun day on the beach it is a delight to recline in the comfy bed and enjoy the 32' Vizio Razor LED smart TV (and even a DVD player for your favorite movies). This room alone 'makes' my vacation a truly restful one!
The front guest room has a queen sized bed beautifully appointed, a spacious dresser and night stand for storage along with an ample closet with full length mirrors. This room also has an AKIA 20' Flat screen LED tv with built-in DVD player and several inputs for gaming/Roku or other tv accessories (these are not provided, but you are welcome to bring your own).
Across the hall is the bunk room, which has 2 twin sized stacked bunk beds with ladder. The room is 'kid' friendly and equipped with their own 39' flat screen tv (with front inputs for gaming) and a DVD player connected. Extra storage is minimal, but there is room for their luggage under the bottom bunk for easy access. The closet in this room houses a full sized stacked washer and dryer, vacuum, and folding towel rack for your convenience.
The second full bath with tub and shower is adjacent to and has direct access to the larger of the guest rooms, and separate entry from the hallway.
The condo has free 'open' wifi provided by the resort.
Comcast digital cable is set up and services each of the bedrooms and the LR, and includes HBO.
The unit does come with a designated private parking space on the 3rd floor parking garage very close to the 3rd floor entrance.
The resort has multiple swimming pools and hot tubs across the beach side of the building. Access to one of the indoor pools and out door pools is just a quick ride down the elevator...as is the arcade, Starbucks Coffee shop and deli market and a pool side bar.
A very well equipped fitness center is on site, but does require a small fee TO the resort for use. It has professional quality high end machinery (treadmills/ellipticals/bikes, free weights, and in either bath facility...showers and dry as well as steam sauna's). Tennis courts are on the top floor of the parking garage, and a theater is avail. next to the gym. (I honestly don't know at this time if there is a fee for that, sorry...still new to me)
There is a HUGE banquet hall for weddings, reunions, or special events; and if this is a need for you we will get you further details.

The condo is located in close proximity to several grocery chains...Publix/ Winn Dixie / 2 Walmart Supercenters/ Target Superstore.
Countless restaurants surround the complex and are easy to get in and out of, so will easily find something for everyone's personal tastes. Local menus are kept in the condo for you to review to assist in the choices. A personal special family treat is Brewster Real Icecream shops. There is one less than a mile east of the resort, and a bigger location on Thomas Dr.
Coconut Grove miniature golf and mazes has been a family mainstay. With 2 mazes and 2 mini golf circuits it was feasible for us to purchase the annual pass and go over and over again in the same week. The 3 kids would challenge each other on times through the maze or scores at golf, and never got bored with it. There are numerous mini golf courses to choose from, the Bungie Swing (and if you get the DVD, which IS a hoot!, and bring it with you on future trips to PCB...they add to it the new footage and reduce the price for returning guests). I think the girls would shoot me if I uploaded theirs, but I just might for grins. Ripley's Titanic and WonderWorks are a fun way to spend the day. Gulf World has been a family favorite repeated for many, many years. Each child has been chosen to be kissed by the sea lion, and the return pass for the night time laser show was very enjoyable. I particularly enjoyed watching the dolphin swim at night and watch the laser show as well, then the kids and adults communicating with them after the show using the hand signals learned earlier in the day. Memories! You'll never forget how soft a stingray feels, and if you have on red or salmon colored nail polish they think it is food and will glide over your hand. hey can't hurt you, and listening to the little ones squeal will make you smile. They get SO excited.
With the beach at our back door we've never been to Shipwreck Island, but I do keep a guest book in the condo and encourage guests to share their experiences with others, and leave suggestions for me that would make their stay even more complete.

About the owner: Tony and I would like to welcome you to our Majestic Beach Tower condo. Both of us were born in Missouri, though in completely different regions. Tony's family comes from Grandin, near the boothill region (famous for it peaches and tomatoes); and mine more centrally located in Higginsville, a couple hours south of the KC area. We both had fairly simple lives...his father worked in the timber industry, and mother was a teacher. My dad worked for the Federal Penitentiary Systems and my mom remained a 'stay home' mom for all of my (and my brothers) youth. I moved all over the country, it seemed, while growing up as my dad was transferred from office to office. He was the head of his field, and designated to bringing each facility up to optimal standards. He retired in Springfield,MO when I reached high school so that THAT experience wouldn't be disrupted for me. Tony went to high school in Doniphan MO, and attended college in Poplar Bluff, working various 'tech' jobs and such until he and his brother started a business in Ozark MO in 1985. While he was doing that, I was attending college at Drury in association to obtaining my RN, and working at a local Springfield hospital. Since he was busy building a business...and I was busy working building a career..neither of us really had time to date, and as fate would have it...we met through a 'video dating service' and married some 6-7 months later. We reside in Ozark, MO where he and his brother built a substantial business over a 20+ year span...and has since been sold a few years back introducing Tony to a semi-retired status. I currently own a local day spa which is in it's 8th year of operation. It has been a lot of fun, and something I will miss someday. We have 3 grown children. Brandon, 29, is the regions best graphic designer specializing in vehicle wraps. Amanda, 23, and about to celebrate her 1st wedding anniversary, is a phlebotomist and NT at the spa, & Rebekah, 20 going to college, and on the Chancellors list.
Why the Owner Chose Long Beach, Panama City Beach, FL, USA:
We were married in 1988, and have been coming PCB annually since 1990 (except for maybe 5 years scattered here and there due to poor health or family matters needing our presence at home). We had spent our honeymoon in Paradise Island, Bahama's...the first time either of us had ever been on a plane, let alone out of the country. That adventure, and the beauty of the 'islands' left us searching for something closer to home...or at least in the states that we could enjoy. We had read about and decided to visit St. Andrews to camp, prompted by Tony's love of camping while growing up in SWMO. Camping wasn't completely foreign to me, but was something my family did only once. (I had a wonderful dad who liked to fish, but hated spiders, snakes and bugs...so I was spared the 'roughing it' experiences.) After years of camping in tents we graduated up to a pop-up camper (and I dragged along every small kitchen appliance I had...toaster ovens, microwaves, mini fridge, and electric skillets were my mainstays. I figured if I was going to cook on my vacation, I'd make it as easy as possible! Soon Tony became 'soft' from fresh baked cookies while camping and we graduated to renting a small 1 BR condo. With 3 children at this point and time..the added privacy (and a hot shower) along with home cooked meals became a desired respite. Never in a million years, though we had dreamed about it, did we think we would one day own a condo of our own. We bought our first in 2009 (which is currently under a management company, since we didn't have the time to devote to THIS aspect of ownership). Tony has since become more fully retired, and pursues his guitar playing with the local churches, and some buddies from area bands (he's really quite talented!), and other ministry interests. I am near retirement as my business venture takes a new path without me, and look forward to taking on the new challenge of an active role in the management of our condo ownership and usage.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
We love our other property on the far end of the beach not far from St. Andrews National Park where our journey and story here in PCB began. However, with growing adult kids and the desire to still have 'family' vacations when possible..the appeal of the 3rd bedroom, even as a bunk room offered them more autonomy. The location of the Majestic is ideal for us since Montego Bay has been a favorite eatery for our family these past 25 years. The loss of the original one on Thomas Dr. was hard, but the newer, bigger, nicer Montego Bay is a healthy walk away from the room in the Shoppes at Edgewater, which also hosts a lot of musical talents during Thunder Beach events, and again, is a walk away so no hassles with parking or finding your car. Pier Park is maybe 10 minutes away, and the area is growing in leaps and bounds. I love the shopping, the cinema, and the restaurants. The music spilling into the streets from various venues and the outdoor bistro-like seating just makes for a really refreshing day OR evening. The jazz festivals are enjoyable in mid summer, lobster-fest in the late summer months complete with sandcastle competitions should not be missed, and the pirate fest in early October is a delight. Tony is particularly fond of Thunder beach in the fall, thought the spring events are becoming just as busy and popular. He doesn't have a Harley, but brings his little red scooter and has just as much fun. (If you've ever seen Bill Engvall's comedy piece about his experience on a scooter/ and the bugs...you've just shared a real life experience of Tony's which will garner a belly laugh every time it's told). There is SO much to do and see here in PCB, we hope that you'll come over and over again, just as we have. It is truly our second home, and as familiar as our homestead in MO. Welcome & Enjoy!
