Best treat for a Family Vacation

  • 5 of 5

Thank you for the wonderful stay in Ko Olina Beach towers. What a view! It was like going to the other Hawaiian islands without the flight. It was fun to see the the jets overhead in their final approach to the HNL airport. Our family just enjoyed the property and the unit was positioned for just an enjoyable view of ocean, lagoon, and property pool. I enjoyed a massage right on the lanai of our unit overlooking the ocean, very pampered! (a great deal by Yana Lehua) The biggest plus is your own assigned parking everday of your stay. (where other properties charge$) New stores in Kapolei so just get what you need and return to make a gourmet meal for your family. Then snorkle right on the Honu Lagoon: (Hawaiian for turtle )The tiki bar has good prices with hot dogs and a cheerful bartender named Derrick who can make you anything you wish, better than any local restaurant. Day trips to Waikiki and North shore. The Ko 'Olina sunsets are incredible, if you want to come with your Ohana, (family) this is the place!

Mahalo!

2 bedroom paradise

  • 5 of 5

My family and I stayed in this 2 bedroom villa from March 16 through March 25. We checked in quite late, just before midnight and the greeting staff was wonderful. They were waiting for us and had everything ready for us for a quick check in. My boys are ages 15 and 12 and as a family, the four of us loved the villas and all of the amenities and facilities around us. My husband enjoyed working out in the gym during after breakfast. Our villa was above the pool and had an ocean view. I loved having my morning coffee on the patio and listening to the ocean waves. My boys enjoyed the pool and hot tubs. Several times we took a 5 minute drive to a nearby beach for the boys to body surf with larger waves and this was very enjoyable. The lagoon is simply gorgeous. We enjoyed cooking in the gorgeous kitchen, it was actually a treat to make all of our meals with top notch kitchen appliances. We walked over to the Disney resort one afternoon and had lunch there and enjoyed some of their amenities. In all, we did a fair amount of walking and this was one of the most enjoyable parts of our trip. In the evening, the four of us would take a walk and go for ice cream. The villa felt like a home away from home. We will definitely return.

Exquisite relaxing resort

  • 5 of 5

The quality and cleanliness and size of the unit was spectacular! We had a spacious two bedroom unit overlooking the pool area. It felt like home for the nine days we were there. My daughter loved having her own room and bathroom while my husband and I had the master suite on the opposite end. The pool area and hot tubs were fabulous. The resort area is always kept clean. Being close to the lagoon was such a bonus as we could enjoy beach time and snorkling. And the sunsets over the lagoon were just absolutely gorgeous! I would definitely consider returning to this place!

Great Serene Hang just far enough away from "the action"

  • 5 of 5

Our family of four, a boy and a girl in their early teens, stayed for a week in room GT-605 . This room is a spacious, immaculate two bedroom, two bath with a large, modern kitchen, washer-drier and large balcony with a three quarter ocean view. The balcony doors open wide to make the living room and balcony into a single space. There is an HD Entertainment Center in the living room.

We booked the room through Phyliss at Real Select LLC in Honolulu. She was very friendly and professional. Louie from Real Select greeted us upon arrival, and showed us the in’s and out’s of the place. Louie was extremely personable and professional.

There is a quiet pool for adults and a nice lava rock pool for kids. No water slide, but enough places to hide to amuse the kids. There is a also very shallow, sandy pool to play in. There is no competition for pool lounges.

A man-made lagoon with a sandy beach provides a safe and amusing place to play. I saw quite a few fish while snorkeling. There is a Tiki bar that makes good Mai Tai’s and have a menu of kid drinks. You can also get some grilled food here.

There are four barbeques, which we used often. They get busy at dinner rush hour but we always got lucky. If you are inclined to stock up the fridge’, A Costco, Safeway and Target are five minutes up the road in Kapolei. I had read a few reviews complaining about the tight security. Let me just say if you are coming to Oahu to party all night on your balcony, this is not the place for you. If, like us, you are a relatively conservative family who likes to stay a little on the high-end, the rules will have little effect on your stay and in fact contribute to a very relaxed and luxurious stay. The Villa’s don’t have a restaurant but there is a Steakhouse and a Grill at the neighboring Marriot via a short stroll along a path connecting all of the resorts. There is a Roy’s on the golf-course right across the street which was excellent. The villa’s other neighbor, The Aulani has a grill and a very expensive fish place that was mediocre when we tried it. A nice fifteen minute stroll takes you to a retail mall that features MonkeyPod, a popular casual place with an interesting menu. The is also an ABC Store for misc stuff, a Sushi place, A Mexican grill, a Hawaiian Bar-B and a pizza place.

Ko Olina itself is about twenty minutes from Honolulu. If you looking for a serene and luxurious retreat away – but not too far - from all the “action”, this is the place.
