Northwoods base camp
House was clean, Michelle offered local recommendations for food and activity and was always willing to help out. House is located just outside of town and close to Baxter state park and Rafting on the Penobscot. Great place to use as a base camp.
The home was in a great location. Very neat and clean, very comfortable.
We were staying in Milinocket for a family wedding. We had six people staying at the lake road house, it was a great place for other family members to gather, meet up, and visit together. It is spacious, clean, and very comfortable. I recommend it very much. I would defiantly stay again.
Great Location for Snowmobiling
The house is very clean and located right next to snowmobile trails. Had a great trip and hope to stay again soon!
Always wonderful and Michelle is such a great hostess. See you next year.
Very quiet and clean place
Very convenient place to stay when hiking in Baxter State Park. Very little noise, other thanthe usual street traffic. Just go out the drive and head north and you are in BSP in about 20-30 minutes. If hiking Katahdin it may be about 40 minutes to the start of the Saddle, Cathedral, and Chimney Pond trails. Only other way to stay closer is to stay whithin the park. Very close to the general store, which does come in handy. I would stay here again.
Great place close to Baxter
This was a great home place for us to stay while our kids finished their AT adventure by summiting Katahdin. We were very comfortable in the roomy house . It had everything we needed and was very clean. Would definitely recommend if you need a place to stay close to Baxter and you don't want to camp. Great communication by the owner as well
