We were notified shortly before our trip that the jacuzzi tub in the cabin was not working, despite being an advertised amenity. While disappointing, we were still proceeding with the stay. However, four hours into our six-hour drive, we were informed that we could no longer stay in the cabin at all and were suddenly reassigned to a different host. This change occurred while we were already en route, with no reasonable notice or alternative options discussed beforehand.Being displaced mid-trip created unnecessary stress and significantly disrupted our plans. This situation could and should have been communicated earlier. Based on this experience, I would not book this property again.
Cabin was very clean, including the hot tub. We couldnât figure out the fireplace (which could have been user error!). There was a pretty busy road near the back porch, which took away from the âmountainâ feel, but you couldnât hear it at all when the jets of the hot tub were on! The pillows on the bed really need to be replaced, but everything else was nice. I feel like the host made check in/out very easy, and itâs clear that the cabin is well taken care of.
What a fun place to stay. The kitchen has everything you need to cook meals, the bed was comfortable and the location was perfect to be able to get out and do things, byt not be in the thick of it all. Would definitely stay again
While the property was beautiful and the weather was unseasonably cold, there were just too many issues. The fireplace wouldnât start. The hot tub was cold and jets wouldnât work. The jacuzzi tub inside only filled 2-3â before water was cold coming out so the jets werenât even touched at that height. I started watching tv and lost internet connection and so had no tv for awhile.
That was a wonderful honeymoon. Thank you to our host for a lovely place to stay in the mountains that is so romantic and so peaceful. We loved the hot tub and the internet worked and everything was just right. Highly recommend.
