A fantastic rental property located on Kiawah Island with all the amenities that you need.

My wife and I rented this property with two other couples from Scotland. The house had all the amenities and was very nicely decorated. In addition it was surrounded by some great golf courses. Unfortunately, we got chased out a few days earlier than planned by Hurricane Matthew and was not able to play. We did get to visit the Ocean Course Club House to take in some of the views. We also dined at a few of the restaurants nearby on the island. They were all wonderful. Finally, we used the bikes out front to drive the trails and go to the beach.

The property owners communicated well and showed a classy touch by calling us to remind us that we were not obligated to stay during the storm. They reimbursed us for the two days that we had to cut short. All in all, it was a great vacation and we look forward to doing it again.

Excellent home and getaway for a big family!

My family of 10 including 3 little kids under the age of 5 stayed at this beautiful home. From start to finish, Tom the owner and his manager, Holly were wonderful to work with and very helpful with all our questions. It was our first time to rent a home and it was a great experience. What I most appreciated about this house was the layout. The layout was very considerate of guests and the needs of 10 people. Everyone really enjoyed the screened in porch overlooking the golf course. The beach was an easy 5 minute walk from the house. The pool was literally 100 feet from the house which actually worked better for us rather in the backyard. With little kids, it was much safer to have the pool gated in rather than right at my finger tips.

I would HIGHLY recommend this house to any families looking for a great get away. Can't wait to go back to Kiawah and stay here again.

Terrific location and comfortable layout

We just returned from a wonderful 40th anniversary celebration with our family. There were 6 adults, two boys (ages 9 and 11), and a 10-month old baby. This home is so livable with its open floor plan (kitchen/dining/family room) and the pleasant screened in porch. Our kids all spent lots of time out there playing chess and cards, listening to music, and enjoying beverages. The view of the golf course was breathtaking. The bedrooms worked out great, too, with a play room for the boys upstairs and a bath for each couple. It is a very comfortable home with comfy, relaxing furniture, and it was so clean and neat.

You can see the community pool from the porch - just a few steps away. It almost seemed like our own private pool, although we met many lovely families there. There were lots of shade trees that allowed us to stay longer in the heat. We rented bikes, and it is just a 5 minute ride to the beach or 10-12 minute walk. There's nowhere to park a car there so you'll want to travel light, (although you could have a driver drop things off) but it is a fabulous, quiet beach with white sand, and you can ride bikes easily on the beach, too.

Holly, the manager, and Tom were so helpful. Holly made a trip back the night we arrived to get out the "pack and play" for the baby. At about 4pm one day we realized the AC was not working upstairs. With one call to Tom, a repairman was there at 7pm to fix the problem. Amazing! What a memorable vacation we had! Thanks, Tom!

Advice:

Go to Fresh Field's market early in the day on the Saturday you arrive - it's a madhouse after 2pm!

We enjoyed Cherrywood BBQ and Ale House at Osprey Point - reservation recommended; upscale casual with great service.

Renting bikes ahead of time (and baby equipment, too) worked great as they delivered them the day we arrived, and picked them up at the door after we left.

Enjoyed a carriage ride in Charleston (Old South Carriage Co.) and the markets with baskets and gifts. There are plenty of places to eat nearby. Ran out of time to see everything.

Beautiful home with a large screened in back porch and the most comfortable furniture.

We enjoyed out stay at our vacation home. The weather was beautiful and the home was the prettiest we have ever stayed in. Two master suits and all the room anyone would ever need for a vacation. My husband and I stayed down stairs and the rest of the family stayed upstairs. What a treat!!! Tom, the owner was great. He left us special treats and we drank them immediately. Tom also provided us with a list of great places to eat. We tried a couple and they were out standing. The home was beautiful and very comfortable. There were plenty of games to play at night. I have never rented from anyone like Tom. He made sure our stay was perfect and it was. The pool was across the street which we loved. There were very few people in it. It was just a short ride to the beach. This was our fifth time here and the best one so far. Thanks Tom for everything. You are a great host!!!!! We will return in two years and hope to rent from you again.

Lovely beach home!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your lovely beach home. It is one of the top three favorite places we've stayed in the thirty two years we've been coming to Kiawah! The beach decor, roominess, amenities and cleanliness put it on the list. We also enjoyed the quiet culdesac location near the pool and short bike ride to the beach. Your attentiveness was most appreciated. Looking forward to staying here again!

Great time in Kiawah

We have been going to Kiawah off and on for 10 years. Beautiful house in a neighborhood setting. Plenty of space, nice rooms and very up to date. The pool and beach access was a real bonus. Tom and Holly do a great job and our family enjoyed the vacation. Thanks!
