Newly re-built vacation home just feet from the water's edge, with panoramic views of Goat Island Lighthouse, surrounding harbor, islands and open ocean. Quiet setting, off the beaten path, with easy access to the attractions of 'The Port' (Kennebunkport) and nearby beaches. Full access to a shared dock right in front of house. Lots of grass for kids to play, and tidal pools to explore. The views cannot be beat, and the interior finishes of the house are high-end. Most people who visit this house say they have never experienced views this spectacular.
No houses are allowed to be built this close to the water today in Kennebunkport, and no expansion of homes in this area is permitted. This is a very special home. The house is only rented out a few weeks of the year, as our own family uses ir regularly.
Paddle the house's canoe or paddle-board, row the dinghy or row boat, or have a kayak or more paddle boards dropped off by the local rental service and launch right in front of the house at high tide. Or at low tide put on your Tevas or an old pair of boots and go mud-flatting.
Enjoy the brand new 6-person hot tub after jumping into the icy cold Maine water.
Our house is very clean. Unlike some old Maine cottages where the furniture emits clouds of dust when you sit down, the beds, linens and furniture in our house are new, and we have the house deep cleaned regularly and in between every guest switch.
Please note the number of guests should not exceed 9 people. The maximum guest arrangement would be 6 adults in the 3 bedrooms (2 kings and 1 queen) and 3 children in the bunk room.
Please contact the owner with any questions. The rates are not negotiable.
