So beautiful... This apartment is in the center of the old city and is the perfect resting spot for travelers. Be weary of coming by the ferry as there are lots of stairs! Bonifacio is so beautiful and this stay represented that charm and unique beauty.

Perfect spacious apartment in an excellent location

The property was perfect - really spacious to stay in as a couple. Located in the old town so all lovely restaurants and shops very close by Apartment was great with nice little balcony to have breakfast on and everything you could need

Beautiful apartment, excellent location

A beautifuly furnished and clean apartment, very well equipped with everything we needed. Location with a true middle age feeling. It was a very comfortable stay. Recommended for everyone who does not mind steep stairs (as typical for Bonifacio).

Great location in the heart of Bonifacio

We had a great time staying at the apartment for 3 nights. The owner is very responsive and provided a lot of information about the accommodation before we booked. The apartment is very clean and spacious and with wonderful restaurants just a few steps out. Be mindful of the stairs for people with limited mobility as there are a few steps between the living room and kitchen and main bedroom. Overall, a great experience that I would recommend to friends and family visiting the city.

Third stay because we love it!

This our third stay at Germaine’s unique and authentic apartment in the heart of Bonifacio. If you want to have an experience like a local, this is the place for you. Germaine is very responsive and flexible with any requests. The apartment has lots of old world charm but the convenience of a well equipped modern kitchen, air conditioning and a large living area for comfortably hanging out with friends or family. We will be back again!

Traditional Corsican Dwelling with a Modern Twist

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed staying in this apartment. Its location in the heart of the old city of Bonifacio provides a genuine flavour of traditional Corsican living, but with all the advantages of modern life. It is extremely well equipped, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Germaine responded to any query very quickly and was warm and welcoming to us. There is some street noise, but honestly, we felt it added to the holiday atmosphere! (Also, it finished at 11 o' clock. ) I'd happily recommend this apartment and its lovely surroundings.

Great spot but!

The location is great but there are some serious issues. The property has a great little kitchen but the small bedroom is very dusty and my daughter could not sleep in it. The AC did not work the whole time we were there even though the owner told us that it would be fixed in a day or two. The caretaker can only speak french so for us we had communication issues. Also, the parking was a real issue and not very well explained.

Désolée pour la climatisation qui est tombée en panne 2 jours avant l’arrivée du locataire et pour la carte parking que le locataire précédent a désactivé. Le ménage est fait à fond avant chaque nouvelle arrivée ce qu’atteste chacune des appréciations précédentes. Cependant, ce n'était pas une raison pour ce locataire de laisser 10 sacs poubelles dans la cuisine , des taches de gras sur les canapés et l’appartement très sale!

Oasis

Well equipped and authentic tucked away in a bizzy town. The best way to get the most out of those beautifull, but Oh so crowded places, is to be in an apartment right in the middle of it. This is one. Early in the morning when there are no tourists, you enjoy a quiet Bonifacio and drink a coffee at the bar which is 30 metres from your doorstep. Need a swim? Just walk out of the citadel gates and down the stairs. Below the cliffs you find a small stroke of pebble beach. In the harbour some splendid yachts are on view. The apartment is an oasis where you can escape the hot weather (airco in all rooms). It is well equiped and decorated with a personal touch. There is small Super market nearby, so you can make yourself a decent meal. Restaurants are literally a stone throw away. Warmly recommended. Parking is best done at P3. The host provides you a free pass.

Beautiful Apartment in Excellent Location

We loved our 6 night stay in this very well appointed and located Apartment- right in the midst of the old town sector of beautiful Bonifacio. The Apartment was very clean and equipped with everything you could ever need on holiday including if you choose catering in on occasions- although the extent and array of cute bars and restaurants all around you makes eating out very desirable. Communications with the owner Germaine were excellent, she was always super helpful with advice ( good restaurants and best beaches etc ) and arrival instructions were clear as it is always a bit daunting to arrive in a little hill top town by car so this de-stressed the arrival procedure. We were met by Stephanie the owners local contact person ( who works just below the Apartment so was nice to know that local advice was handy if needed ) who settled us in - with the help of Goggle Translate as we have no French but all went fine albeit a few laughs as we sorted the finer points with the assistance of Translate ! We are a 65 year old couple in reasonable shape for age and it was a bit of a puff for 30 seconds while we got our suitcases up the very steep internal stairs from the street to the apartment door. We always took extra care going up and down the stairs as they are steep and fairly unforgiving if you missed your footing. If you were older and/or had mobility issues I would suggest you might struggle. Once installed you will find the interior of the Apartment to be very tasteful.

Très bon séjour

Bel Appartement authentique et très bien équipé .la situation dans la haute ville a ses avantages (on est au cœur de la cité mais ça reste calme) et ses inconvénients (le parking est un peu loin et quelque fois complet) La propriétaire est l écoute et bienveillante

Merci beaucoup Isabelle! Il est vrai que Bonifacio est une cité médiévale piétonne et qu’il faut se garer en périphérie. Mais l’horaire d’arrivée dans l’appartement -16/17h- permet d’y entrer quand les touristes repartent de la ville et d’accéder aux parking sans crainte. Je suis désolée que vous ayez joué de malchance et vous souhaite un bon tour de Corse🤗

Emplacement et appartements impeccables

L’arrivée esr un peu compliquée mais le contact est facile. L’appartement est très bien situé au coeur de la citadelle, avec quantité de restaurants et boutiques à quelques pas. L’appartement est bien décoré : un peu difficile d’accès en raison des marches raides et de la situation sur trois étages, mais on s’habitue. Le parkig gratuit est apprécié. La télé permet de se connecter à notre compte Netflix, Disney ou Prime. Le seul bémol serait que les chaises et les sofas sont assez inconfortables. Au total, nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour.

Très bel appartement

Nous avons apprécié notre séjour. L'appartement a beaucoup de cachet et décoré avec goût. Le balcon ensoleillé le matin est très agréable.

Très bel endroit , superbe emplacement

Nous sommes une Famille de 5 ,très bien adapté et tout ce qu’il faut sur place, le plus petit ( 3 ans) a bien gérées escaliers. Bon échange avec la propriétaire, nous serions enchantés d’y retourner

Séjour de rêve!

L’emplacement est parfait, Les contacts avec la propriétaire et la personne sur place absolument excellents, la location est impeccable, il y a bien plus que ce à quoi on peut rêver . On a envie de penser qu’on veut y revenir tellement nous étions idéalement placés pour profiter de ce sublime Bonifacio! C’est un endroit enchanteresque , surtout quand on le découvre de l’intérieur , c’est à dire: de la citadelle elle-meme.

WOW!! Amazing unit in the heart of the upper town

This apartment is in the very heart of the ancient city of Bonifacio. The balcony is actually in one the photos on the ad, showing the flying buttresses which attach the apartment building to the church. Bonifacio is a gem of a place, with the upper town being surrounded by thick walls., and narrow alleyways full of restaurants and shops. Tourists flock to the city, most of them by car, which is something that needs to be considered when making plans to arrive. During the middle of the day parking is at a premium. to say the least. The unit owner provides a parking pass, but you need to meet her, or her rep, in order to get the pass. My advice, avoid trying to drive into the upper ville until around 6 pm, at which time it is easier to get a spot in one of the lots reserved for the locals (for which you will have a pass). From our experience you want to avoid driving into Bonifacio between 10 am and noon, traffic was backed up forever. After dinner the tourists clear out and most of the other visitors return to their mega yachts in the harbor below, leaving you virtually alone in the town. The unit itself is large and clean, with a full kitchen, modern bath with shower and washing machine, and comfortable living room. The steps up from the street to unit, on the second floor, are somewhat steep, but we managed. Pack light. The AC units worked well during our stay. We were very happy with this choice and I have a hard time imagining a better location in Bonifacio.
