About Vacasa, OR - Oregon Coast Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Nice but...

  • 3 of 5

House needs remodeled and was told it is next to get just that as the unit next door was being remodeled during our stay (not an inconvenience).

Beach access need put in place. Very steep drop off from back yard (no access to beach). Manager said they are working with property owner on that.

This could very well be an outstanding place to rent and I'm sure it will be from what I got from the manager but during our stay it was only (ok).

Memorial Day Home Run Experience

  • 5 of 5

We booked this spot for Memorial Day 2017... Arrive Thursday after work and a drive from the Valley... Opened the door to a spectacular view of the ocean and fishing boats. The house smelled clean and was all in order.

Plenty of room for 4 folks for a long weekend... great to have a washing machine and dryer.

We truly enjoyed the deck and backyard looking over the ocean. Even though this had no beach access the Day Use State Park Beaches are about 2 miles away in either direction... wide nice sandy beaches.... with sunshine... we were so lucky.

We enjoyed the beach in the day time and every evening came back for cocktails and treats.... One of the evenings we were witness to two Whales and their calves swimming by... Great Whale watching area... The bunnies and snakes in the garden were all a delight.

Memorable spot and weekend.

We were probably the first to use the property this year. It seems that the issues observed in the reviews from 2016 have been dealt with. I would recommend this others.

Great Get Away

  • 5 of 5

This was a get away from it all weekend. Even with drizzle rain, it was great to open the deck door, listen to the waves and read. Very comfy beach cottage feeling. Well equipped kitchen.

Great view, NO beach access, noisy dogs and traffic

  • 2 of 5

As others have said, finding an affordable place right over the beach is great, but beware the downside: barking dogs in other side of the duplex, totally unkept/overgrown yard (can't mow??) with NO walkable beach access, bedrooms about 25' off the highway with loud early morning traffic noise, several deferred maintenance items inside.

We had a confusing first entry as there are two lockboxes, and the first one in sight does not work. I REALLY appreciated having a support phone to call and VERY nice customer service and empathetic staff.

It's a cute little space and great to BBQ and have a fire in the firepit. Seemed clean, no bad odors, but fleas were in the carpet from previous pets. Beds are comfy, clean, and linens plentiful. Washer and dryer are great. Kitchenware was OK, and I'm fine with no dishwasher but not even a dish drainer?? Having wet dishes spread over counter on towels is not ideal.

Bathroom is small and efficient, shower only, good exhaust fan. Bottom edge of bathroom counter is crumbling off.

Sorry, but I regret spending my hard-earned $$ here and would never return to a place like this and would not recommend it.

Stunning view; location, location, location !!

  • 5 of 5

This home and location has enormous potential. The views of the ocean are really amazing! The owners/ management are genuinely trying , but a few small upgrades could really put the home over the top. The house was clean when we arrived, but somewhat dated . Amenities were supplied, but sparce. Towels and linens were plentiful, although a bit old. Comfortable, quiet, nice barbeque, no problem with the dog next door. A little difficult for the turn off of hwy 101 getting in the driveway, but otherwise very convenient and centrally located.

Really good value; house is kid and pet friendly. The view from the back deck and yard is amazing. If you are looking for luxury and beach access, this is not the place for you, and you will have to spend a lot more $$$.
