Are you dreaming of a calm place near the sea to spend a few days enjoying the sea air? Then come and enjoy our 86m2 apartment on the first floor of our family home near the sea and in the middle of a park, at the Pointe de Suzac, 7km away from Royan in the region of Charente Maritime. The apartment offers the following: - 1 very large living room with two sofa beds, 1 large balcony for your outdoor meals - 1 fully equipped kitchen with dining area - 1 parents bedroom - 1 'children's bedroom (3 beds). The apartment sleeps up to 6 people (5 is the recommended number) and offers many storage spaces. The apartment is very bright and luminous. Nearby: Pony-Club 100m away, tennis courts, a golf course, sand yacht, sailing or optimist dinghies available at the Saint Georges or Royan Boat Club, kite-surfing, la Palmyre zoo, many bicycle paths, a tree-climbing park, the markets of St Georges, Royan and Meschers, various festivals: Franco Folies, Violons sur le Sable in July, etc.

Appartement vraiment spacieux, c'est agréable. Bien équipé pour la cuisine.Très bien situé à proximité de la plage de Suzac. Endroit calme,si ce n'est les hurlements des animateurs du camping proche (qui heureusement s'arrêtaient à 23h.)

Nous avons passé une semaine à cinq (avec trois enfants de 5 à 8 ans) dans cet appartement. Il est spacieux, fonctionnel et bien équipé, ce qui rend le séjour agréable en famille. La vue est réellement exceptionnelle et le calme qui entoure la maison est incroyable : on se sent dans un véritable écrin de verdure, comme dans une bulle loin du monde. Le chemin qui mène à la plage de Suzac est magnifique et facilement accessible, un vrai plus.Nous avons toutefois remarqué que le logement semblait ne pas avoir été loué depuis un certain temps : à notre arrivée, il y avait une odeur de renfermé et la propreté n’était pas optimale, ce qui a un peu terni la première impression. Nous espérons que ce point pourra être amélioré, car le cadre en vaut vraiment la peine.Dans l’annonce, il est indiqué que l’appartement peut accueillir plus de personnes, mais pour plus de confort, nous pensons qu’il est idéal pour cinq occupants maximum. Malgré ces quelques points, nous gardons un bon souvenir du séjour et l’envie de revenir profiter de ce lieu unique.

Der "blumige" Namen des Hauses ("Ein Hafen des Friedens und des Grüns") trifft vollumfänglich zu!Eine großzügige, lichtdurchflutete Wohnung mit grandiosem Ausblick in einer charmanten alten Villa auf einem grandiosen Grundstück!Kein Autolärm und viel Ruhe (abgesehen von gelegentlicher, abendlicher Animation auf den Campingplätzen in der Umgebung.Wir haben uns "pudelwohl" gefühlt und würden immer wiederkommen.

Wunderschön

Wir wurden von der Vermieterin sehr freundlich empfangen.Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet mit allem, was man braucht. Kinder haben ums Haus viel Platz zum Spielen. Das Grundstück ist eine Oase ab vom Trubel, wo man sich sehr gut erholen kann. Herrliche Aussicht auf die Gironde. Strände in Fußnähe. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert.

Wohnung mit super Garten und Ausblick

Die Wohnung liegt etwas außergalb von St. Georges de Didonne und ist gut für Familien mit Kids geeignet wir haben uns wohlgefühlt und der Ausblick vom Balkon ist einmalig. Wir können die Wohnung sehr gut weiterempfehlen.

Magnifique !

Nous avons passé deux semaines. Un appartement parfaitement équipé dans une maison avec une très belle vue sur la mer, un immense jardin très calme bien fermé avec des jeux pour les enfants. Des petits chemins côtiers pour rejoindre les plages depuis le jardin..Tout était parfait (l'accueil aussi). Nous reviendrons !

Vacances merveilleuses !

Un emplacement magique, un appartement ultra fonctionnel même à 6, calme et évasion au rendez vous. A quelques minutes à pied des plages, un emplacement incroyable au milieu de la nature et avec une vue incroyable. Proche de tout, tout en profitant d'un calme incroyable. Un vrai luxe. Nous avons passé des vacances merveilleuses.

World class view and friendly owners

This is the second year we have stayed in this apartment and there's a reason we came back. The view from the balcony is sensational and the apartment is an easy walk to a small beach (around ten minutes), which has a great restaurant. The beach town Saint Georges de Didonne is around 25 minutes away by foot as well. The apartment is comfortable and clean and the owners are very nice and helpful. As far as any critical notes, there is a camping ground nearby where they sometimes play loud music in the evening. This personally did not bother us at all, but it may not be as ideal for someone who would like silence every evening. The internet connection was also quite slow at times, but this meant we had an excuse not to work on holiday, so that was also fine. Overall, definitely a five star rating from our side. We look forward to coming for a stay again in the future!

wunderschöner Urlaub

Wir hatten als fünfköpfige Familie eine sehr schöne Zeit in dieser großzügigen Ferienwohnung mit grandioser Aussicht. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Den großen Garten konten wir zum Kicken und Schaukeln sehr gut nutzen. Der Weg vom Garten an den Strand dauerte fünf Minuten und führte über einen schmalen, schattigen Weg direkt an der Steilküste entlang. Das alles war wunderschön. Leider liegt das Haus nicht wirklich am Meer. Eher an einem Fluß mit Ebbe und Flut. Das bedeutet, dass das Wasser nicht klar ist und die Brandung nicht sehr hoch. Das war für uns nicht ideal. Aber die Wohnung und die Aussicht sind großartig.

Aussergewöhnlicher Pavillon mit tollem Meerblick

Sehr ruhige und schöne Lage mit unglaublichem Meerblick. Alter Pavillon mit familiärem Flair. Alle Geräte des täglichen Bedarfs sind vorhanden (Waschmaschine, Spülmaschine, Wasserkocher, Toaster, Mikrowelle, TV etc.). Sehr gut für Familien geeignet. Großer naturbelassener Garten bietet viele Spielmöglichkeiten. Auch schattige Parkmöglichkeit unweit des Hauses. Zwei Strände sind fußläufig direkt vom Garten aus über Wanderwege erreichbar (schattig 10-15 Min. zum kleinen Strand bzw. 20-25 Min. zum großen Strand). Sehr nette Vermieter, die viele Tipps geben und stets bei Fragen erreichbar sind. Problemlose Abwicklung bei An- und Abreise. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist die Sauberkeit der Wohnung bei Ankunft. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Appartement spacieux, propre, calme, bien équipé, avec une vue magnifique. Grand parc arboré. Jeux pour enfants (balançoire, toboggan, jeux de plage). 2 acces aux sentiers douaniers au fond du parc. L'un mène à la plage de Suzac, superbe et peu frequentée, avec un petit restau sur la plage (top avec les enfants). L'autre sur un plateau avec de superbes vues et acces à une autre plage. Hôtes très sympathiques, avec petit cadeau de bienvenue. Super sejour :)

Vue imprenable

Appartement correspondant totalement à la description : vues sur mer et parc, pièces spatieuses, vaisselles et rangements suffisants, endroit très calme. Le seul point noir au tableau est la propreté des lieux et de la vaisselle en arrivant : les propriétaires, dans leur intérêt, ne devraient pas forcément faire confiance aux locataires sortants. Mais nous recommandons vivement cette location tellement nous nous y sommes bien sentis.

Landhaus mit Meerblick

Ein sehr ruhiges Haus mit schönen Appartements und einem wundervollen Blick auf die Gironde. Im großen Park am Haus kann man Kaninchen und Eichhörnchen beobachten und die Kinder haben viel Platz zum Spielen. Die Vermieterfamilie(n) sind sehr nett und verbringen ihre Urlaub mit Kindern auch dort. Der Strand ist über den Garten und einen Pfad über den Klippen direkt vom Haus zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir können das Haus ohne Einschränkung für Familien empfehlen. Eine deutsch-französische Familie aus Stuttgart

Location atypique

Location atypique dans une maison quant à elle bien typique (de la région) ! L'annonce est fidèle à ce qu'on peut réellement trouver. Ne pas s'attendre à de l'ultramoderne. On est là dans une maison de "campagne". Tout n'est pas rutilant. Mais l'essentiel est là. Rien ne manque. Tout fonctionne. Détail important, la literie est de qualité (pas tjs le cas des loc' !). Le cadre est superbe. Jardin commun gigantesque (propice aux rencontres avec les résidants des 3 autres logements, dont la famille des lieux), jeux pour enfants, barbecue, vue sur mer, le tout dans un calme parfait. Accès à la plage de Suzac en 10 min par le chemin des douaniers (accès depuis le jardin !). Sinon (quand enfant en poussette), en longeant la route à pied en moins de 10 min. Accueil hyper agréable par un membre de la famille. Nous ne mettons pas 5 étoiles car à notre arrivée le ménage n'était pas tip top. Rien de catastrophique non plus.... et il semble que ce n'était pas habituel. Mais bon....dommage car sinon c'était le sans faute. Le bilan étant très positif. ps : cet avis est celui d'une famille avec 2 enfants en bas âges.

Du calme, du charme, la vue !

Un appartement chaleureux avec des détails sympathiques & vivants dans une belle & grande maison de famille. Et un parc autour qui donne sur le sentier côtier. Vue sur l'estuaire de quasi toutes les fenêtres. Très calme, bourré de charme.

Vivement la prochaine fois ...

Imaginez d'abord un site extraordinaire : l'entrée de l'estuaire de la Gironde Puis une bâtisse impressionnante au milieu d'un parc boisé avec pour seul paysage la mer à perte de vue L'appartement , rempli d'Histoire, est spacieux ( nous étions 6), frais, complètement équipé, propre : tout est réuni pour vous faire passer un séjour de rêve. Les repas ( dans la cuisine) face à la mer sont gravés à jamais dans nos mémoires. La plage de Suzac toute proche est à taille humaine, propre et reposante. Il vous faudra plusieurs séjours pour découvrir toutes les curiosités touristiques et historiques autour de St Georges. C'est avec envie et impatience que nous reviendrons une quatrième fois au "chalet" Nous y avons passé des moments, en famille, inoubliables.
