About James Fleming
We are Paul, Colleen, and James and we welcome you to our Key Largo Oasis. We have a love for the water and a love for the beautiful Florida Keys! We live in Miami, so our Vacation Home is just a short drive away from us and we do our best to make it down at least once a month for some fishing, sun bathing, and relaxation. We hope that during your stay, you will be able to experience all of the wonderful things that make this place our Key Largo Paradise.
James Fleming purchased this House in 2006
Why James Fleming chose Key Largo Village
We purchased this property because of its excellent location and built our dream home in paradise. This property has easy access to the ocean, backcountry and offshore fishing and offers protected waters for tubing, jet skiing and just relaxing at sunset. We built our dream home in 2008 with 3000 sq ft including Four bedrooms and Three bathrooms offering wonderful bay views from every room.
What makes this House unique
Parks and great food and fun every where you go. Canal offers crystal clear water with underwater lighting which offers beautiful view of snook, tarpon, and manatees right off the dock or one of the two full balconies.

Slice of Heaven
Our trip down to Key Largo was mired with the usual holiday traffic but the house was a shining oasis at the end. The description doesn't to justice to the house, it is fully stocked, very well laid out, and for lack of a better word... perfect. The location was pretty easy to find with GPS, but I can see how one could get easily lost in the smaller streets off of the main highway, we found it pretty quickly and walked into an immaculately, clean, and airy abode. The bedrooms are generously laid out, and the master is a sight to behold. The houses are close together both on the sides and canal side, but the house is very well soundproofed and we could barely hear each other through the stay. There are a decent amount of stairs so those with difficulty beware. We enjoyed a few nights of pristine views and a few cold ones (beverages) down on the canal. The entire group agreed this is a gem in the Keys and would love to stay again anytime. The owners were very informative and friendly, although the house had it all so there was little need for much communication post arrival.
Excellent house for large family vacation
We needed a house with plenty of room for a family of 7 and this house was perfect for us. The other reviews already mentioned the enormous master bedroom and bathroom and the nice large kitchen. We liked the bedroom with bathroom on the first floor as well. The kayak and fishing rods were a very nice plus. The beach towels came in very handy. The reason I'm not giving the house 5 stars has to do with a couple of things. The broken blinds that still are not fixed. Not receiving any information about the check-in besides the invitation to the Homeaway app. The app said someone would be at the house to meet us, but nobody was there. I did happen to find the keys, so we could enter the house. James wasn't very fast in responding to emails and text. No specific information about check-out either. I have rented several houses through Homeaway And I have always received several emails with a lot of information, like keys, phonenumbers, what is expected at check-out etc. Also, I realize this house is mainly used to sleep in, but the seating in the living room and at the 2 tables wasn't for 7 people. We missed a coffee table. I personally would have liked a little more decoration, to give it a more homey feel. So if you're looking for a lot of space in a central location in the Keys and don't care about the decoration, this is the house for you.
This was an absolutely amazing home. The home has plenty of room, for a large family to gather and enjoy. We had 10 people and there was more than enough room. The kitchen was well stocked. The owner was very helpful and was available anytime I had a question.
Stellar house, 5 stars all around!
This house was amazing! We stayed for 6 days in January 2016 and though mother nature wasn't our friend most of the stay, we had the perfect place to stay out of the wind and rain. This house has 4 bedrooms and housed everyone in our tribe very comfortably. And like everyone else said, the master bedroom (and bathroom!) were by far the best as far as size and sites but there were no complaints from anyone in our party. A few things to think about when planning your visit. They provided big beach towels, so don't think you have to bring any! There is also a hair dryer in the master bathroom. We had kids with us (2 years and 9 months), the floors throughout this house are tile and wood, not the ideal floor for my 9 month old who decided to start walking (wobbling!) but someone was always with her to make sure she didn't crash down on those floors. We took advantage of the spacious kitchen and fridge and made most of our meals while we were there. A few things that could be provided that would have helped us during our stay: dish rags and towels, glass storage containers (for left overs), pot holders, more mixing bowls. We bought a chair that could be strapped to one of the kitchen chairs so the baby could eat and left it there for future guests. They have a washer and dryer also which came in handy, they work great. The balcony overlooks the water, and if you are bringing kids, be mindful of the fact that there is nothing by the water as far as a wall or railing. When you enter the house, you go up a set of stairs into the main living area/kitchen area and there is a door to the stairs leading downstairs to the outside ( and the kids never figured that out!) The balcony is spacious and wonderful to hang out on, we spent almost every morning and evening out there, without any disturbances. If we are ever back in Key Largo, we would rent this place again in a heart beat!
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! It was an absolute pleasure welcoming you and your family to our Little Slice of Key Largo Paradise! I was happy to read about all of the wonderful things you enjoyed about our home and have made a note to buy some of those items you mentioned. Thank you very much for being a 5-Star Guest and we hope we can welcome you back one day soon!

I rented this property to celebrate my 65th birthday with my kids and their respective families. There were 10 of us, and there was plenty of room for all. The house has an open space concept on the first floor, which makes it great, because even if you are cooking in the kitchen you can be talking to the people in the living room and even the porch. The porch was great with plenty of chairs to sit outside, and enjoy the beauty of the bay. The main bedroom has the best view of all, being on a third floor, waking up in the morning and looking out the window, is simply heaven. The master bathroom is huge, with a tub with Jacuzzi, plus a walk in shower. Of course this was the bathroom of choice for half of the people. We absolutely loved the house, and they even provided a kayak, golf cart, bikes, even a canoe, however it had a hole and water would come in, so only a short canoe ride had to be done. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars, was because some minor details, that we worked around it, like the track on the vertical blinds in the living room on one side, would get stuck, so you would have to do it manually, and in the main bedroom a few of the vertical blinds were missing. And the barbecue needs an uplift. Oh and very important for women, you need to bring your own blow dryer. There wasn't one in the house. In spite of these minor incidents, if we were to go back to Key Largo for a family reunion once again, we would definitely rent here again.
Great family time, in a fabulous location!
Our stay in this house was just perfect. Our family met in Key Largo for a Thanksgiving vacation, and we all stayed together in the house. It was spacious, very well maintained, and simply decorated, which left us lots of room to move around. Breakfasts together out on the balcony over-looking a beautiful view of the water, our boat docked immediately behind the house, and a nice quiet driveway/road where the kids could play without danger of traffic. The house is only a mile south of Pennekamp State Park, and 40 minutes from the Everglades, plus there's a Publix across the road from the neighborhood. The owner was fabulous to work with, easy to contact with questions, and more than willing to accommodate unforeseen circumstances. We really loved it, and hope to have an opportunity to use the house again!
It was an absolute pleasure welcoming you and your extended family to our Little Slice of Key Largo Paradise for the Thanksgiving Holiday! Thank you very much for your kind words regarding our Home and I can tell you that Breakfasts on the Balcony and Jumping in the Boat for a quick Sunset Cruise are without a doubt two of our favorite things to do as well.
You were a "model" guest and I truly hope we have the opportunity to welcome you back one day in the not-too-distant future.
Wishing you all the very best and thank you once again for your wonderful review of our home.
