1 of 3 houses on large domaine La Flotte in Sonnac sur l'Hers. 40 ha (forest and meadows) with shared pool (round, 6 m diameter), large lake Montbel at about 25 minutes by car. Very peaceful, still close to interesting sites like Mirepoix, Limoux, Carcassonne, Cathar castles etc.
The houses are spacious, bright and very comfortable. Private terrace with beautiful views. Each bedroom with own bathroom.

Even helemaal niets!!!! Als je dat zoekt, moet je hier zijn. Accomodatie+zwembad+uitzicht+volkomen rust....fantastisch!!! Wil je net iets meer, dan is dit het niet...helaas konden wij door privé-omstandigheden geen bergwandelingen doen, anders was het voor ons prima geweest.

Tranquility and Comfort

We are from the US and wanted to escape the madness of Christmas materialism. LaFlotte was the perfect place for us. Surrounded by nature with views of the mountains and only a short distance to friendly local shops with delicious products from farms and vineyards. Nicole is an extraordinary host she made sure we had everything we needed and gave us valuable recommendations . We have vacationed in France for about 15 years and this stay was the most enjoyable. The house, setting, weather, host and local people made our time there splendid. We did not want to depart and are planning our return.

Hele gezellige woning, heel afgelegen en dus ideaal voor echte rust. Het is enkel een gedeeld zwembad, de online advertentie lijkt wat tegenstrijdig daarover.

Pour s'y rendre, il faut aimer le calme et le silence. La location est spacieuse, claire et meublée avec goût. Les environs regorgent de villages et de bourg à visiter. Pour des vacances instructives (nous avons appris bien des choses sur les Cathares) et reposantes.... n'hésitez pas.

Lovely large house perfect for a peaceful break

The house has an amazing view of the Pyrenees and is set on a tranquil hillside. We did some wonderful walks and enjoyed days at Montbel lake taking advantage of all the water sports. The beautiful ancient city of Mirepoix is only 20 mins away and Carcasonne just over an hour. The house has really large rooms and is very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you would need and the bathrooms are new, clean and nicely decorated. If you are looking for a quiet break in the heart of the French countryside it is perfect.
