About Jennifer

Our family has farmed this land since the early 1800's. We grew up on a tobacco farm and farmed other traditional crops - soybeans, corn and timber. We planted the vineyard in 2000 and opened the winery in 2009. This is still a family owned and operated farm. (Pictured - Neil with daughter, Jennifer and sons James and Joseph)

Why Jennifer chose North Carolina

We are passionate about inviting guests to enjoy all we've worked so hard to build. We are proud of our legacy here and want to share the beauty of the Yadkin Valley with you.

What makes this cabin unique

Enjoy the cattle next door. Watch the leaves change colors in the fall. Pluck a ripe berry from the vine in September. Sit by the cozy fire in December and sip a cold glass of wine by the lake in the summer. This is a year-round getaway!

Clean and quaint little cabin. Located in wine country on the grounds of Sanders Winery.. Private and quiet. Very close to numerous wineries . Restaurant was not operating while we stayed, hope to see it re-open.

Beautiful cabin & delicious wine!

  • 5 of 5

I had a lovely stay at this cabin. It was exactly as described online, peaceful and very clean, with all the necessary amenities. The free wine tasting and glasses were a nice touch - the winery was in walking distance and the wines were delicious! I recommend the Sweet Kate and Peach Mango. I wish the restaurant had been open, and I plan on visiting again once it's back up and running (though they did arrange for a food truck on Saturday, so we didn't go hungry!). Make sure to check the binder when you first arrive (it's on the coffee table in the living room) - I didn't notice it until the last day of our stay. The staff was kind and helpful, it was an absolutely wonderful experience.

What a peaceful place!

  • 4 of 5

Sooo quiet and serene. We loved this little cabin---so private, SO quiet and peaceful. Dinner at the Sourwood Restaurant on site was very enjoyable...staff very nice and pleasant. We ventured into several of the small towns in the area and everywhere we went, the merchants were personable and appreciative---such a pleasure. We will definitely make another trip back!
