About the property

Sleeps 4, Private, Secluded, 1 bedroom - Queen Bed, Huge Deck, Kitchenette

Our winery cabin is located in the old growth forest behind our winery and restaurant. Private and secluded, but only minutes from Winston-Salem and Greensboro and less than 2 hours from Charlotte. 1 Bedroom with a queen bed and sleeper sofa in the living/dining open area. Hug back porch, small kitchenette with microwave, hotplate, mini fridge, and coffee maker. Fully stocked with linens, coffee and toiletries. Each rental comes with a wine tasting for 2 and 2 souvenir glasses (a $27 value). Also receive a $10 per person discount on our Big Woods Zipline (full priced adult tickets). Hike our walking/birding trails - we've included trail maps, binoculars and a flashlight. Or just relax on the back deck and sip a glass of our award-winning wine! This cabin was crafted from wood cut from our own farm. Hardwood floors, cedar exterior and wood paneled make it rustic and cozy. High Def TV with built in DVD player and Dish Network. We have it stocked with books, magazines and movies. Spend a night or even a week in the Yadkin Valley AVA designated wine region. Our new cabin is just minutes away from more than 40 wineries! Join us for lunch or dinner in our restaurant where we serve a seasonally based menu featuring veggies from our own organically grown gardens. Our restaurant can also provide a breakfast basket for an additional charge. Make this request with your reservation. Other area activities - art galleries, golfing, hot air ballooning, river rafting, sky diving and more!

About Jennifer

Our family has farmed this land since the early 1800's. We grew up on a tobacco farm and farmed other traditional crops - soybeans, corn and timber. We planted the vineyard in 2000 and opened the winery in 2009. We added the Big Woods Zipline in 2010 and the cabin in September of 2014. This is still a family owned and operated farm. Why Jennifer chose North Carolina

We are passionate about inviting guests to enjoy all we've worked so hard to build. We are proud of our legacy here and want to share the beauty of the Yadkin Valley with you.

What makes this cabin unique

Enjoy the cattle next door. Watch the leaves change colors in the fall. Pluck a ripe berry from the vine in September. Sit by the cozy fire in December and sip a cold glass of wine by the lake in the summer. This is a year-round getaway!

Lovely Cabin

  • 5 of 5

My girlfriend and I decided to stay for New Years and it was amazing. We wanted to get away from the city and enjoy some outdoor adventures. Although still cold in January we recommend extra blankets if you are not use to living in a cabin. We went to the local Food Lion and bought food for our stay then we ate at the restaurant which was amazing. The home was clean; the host left the keys on the table because we came in too late - they are very accommodating. Jennifer answered all my questions prior to the arrangements.

Delightful cabin at Sanders Ridge Winery

  • 4 of 5

We loved this cabin and winery - it was so charming. The staff was great, the wine and restaurant were outstanding, and we loved hiking the trails on the property. We could eat on the patio while enjoying the lake view, or we could eat inside the restaurant and enjoy the large stone fireplace. The food was outstanding - our kudos to the chef and staff at The Hearth Restaurant. All in all, a very good weekend, and will return again to visit! Next time, we plan to go on the Big Woods Zipline on the property.

Great stay!!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed in the cabin for 2 nights. The cabin is in a beautiful setting! Had it been a little warmer, we would have enjoyed sitting on the back porch. We visited nearby wineries. We had Thanksgiving dinner at the Hearth restaurant and were very pleased with the food and service. We would definitely stay there again!

Cabin in the woods

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay at the Sanders Ridge cabin. The deck was so peaceful and the inside was clean. We met another couple for a wine weekend and I was struck by how easy it was for the four of us to share the space. It is clear that much thought was put into making guests feel at home. Our wine tasting with Jake was a pleasure. He was knowledgeable and charming. Jennifer was a joy to work with and welcomed us upon arrival. The wait staff at dinner was attentive - fried green beans are killer!! Unfortunately we were unable to stay for brunch as planned...so we just might have to come back! Beautiful vineyard!

Super cute cabin, gorgeous area, staff not quite up to par

  • 4 of 5

We really enjoyed our recent trip to the cabin despite the constant rain. The cabin is very well made, stocked with all of the dishes and linens you could need as well as coffee (thank you!). It would probably help in the description to make it clear that the bedroom is really separated from the living space by a wall with an opening at the top, so it is "semi-private". Made it a bit awkward with two couples. Also, the bathroom can only be accessed from inside the bedroom. The surrounding wooded area is peaceful and serene. Made for a nice night out on the deck. Unfortunately, the staff seemed a bit confused every time we showed up and did not tell us to pre-order our reserved brunch, so it made breakfast Sunday morning a bit of a hassle. Overall, great place that just needs a little tweaking. We'll be back!

Above and Beyond!

  • 5 of 5

Our stay at Sanders Ridge was amazing. My husband and I take a weekend trip together twice a year and I think this one was one of the best. The cabin is super-cute and clean. Just enough room for us and had everything we needed. The back deck is wonderful and the entire property is just beautiful. We had brunch at the restaurant on Friday and Saturday morning and had dinner there on Friday and Saturday night. The food and service were wonderful. Jennifer was a wonderful help with the wine tasting. Can't thank everyone enough for helping us have a wonderful time. We will definitely be back!!
