About ricardo quirarte
Art lover and world traveler has returned to the USA to spend more time with those precious little grandchildren. Leaving her charming Mexican retreat available for you to rent and enjoy. You won't find a more accessible and safe house in Ajijic. Close to everything but totally private behind the high walls.
ricardo quirarte purchased this House in 1990
Why ricardo quirarte chose Ajijic
VERY CLOSE to the village center but NOT IN IT! .. One block from the lake and the Lake Chapala Society grounds (google them). Quiet street. good neighbors. Parking allowed on the street to the East of the house, if you need it. You will feel like you are in your own little world once on the grounds of this Artistic retreat. Entrance is an arched custom painted door way set under the typical Mexican tiled cupola. Los Girasoles was built as a restaurant (Los Girasoles in the 1980's) and cleverly remodeled into this spacious well lit home by it's current owner in 1990.
What makes this House unique
Corner property, lovely roof top terrace with panoramic views of the village and mountains. Roof top patio area with gas grill and wet bar. Giant gourmet kitchen on ground level. Surround yourself with high quality art and furnishings … unlike the typical vacation rental where furniture and pictures are chosen as decorations based on how 'cheap' they are.
