A wonderful and cozy visit.

A beautiful place to stay and a lovely owner! We had a wonderful time in Menton. And largely in part to the owner who took the time to talk with us and welcome us.

The owner was very agressive and we couldnt stay. We fekt threatened and left after one night.

Everything in and outside is old and dilapidated and mouldy. Only good thing is the view.Hostess very disagreeable

Merveilleux, magnifique

From the moment we arrived, my friend and I were charmed by every thoughtful detail of this cozy, sunlit apartment. The view from the garden is truly incomparable, and the location is perfect—restaurants, the beach, train station, botanical garden, and more were just a short walk away, and every trip into town felt like strolling through a postcard. The owner was knowledgeable and kind, and gave us everything from directions to beach supplies to travel tips. Chatting with her was among the highlights of our trip. I only wish we'd been able to stay for longer!

Amazing location with some faults

I really loved the location and the insane view of this place. The host was very sweet, she gave my boyfriend and I food when we checked in late at night. However, she tried to ask us for more money once we arrived because she said the online price was incorrect, and that she should be charging more because her neighbors are charging more. She also entered our room a few times while we were gone, I assume to restock things and whatnot but I was not a fan of that. Overall a good stay but would just be aware of the few potential issues.

Inaccurate list of ammenities

The place has a beautiful view and was clean but was missing some of the amenities listed. There wasn't any on site parking. It was only street parking for a charge. I also could not find the clothes washer or the bidet. It is possible that the owner allows guests to use her washer but i didnt ask. The owner was nice but seemed to hover. If you want privacy, try somewhere else.

wonderful romantic little appartment,gorgeous view

A little 'trouvaille' on the Mediterranean coast, this small but for two persons comfortable appartment (hopefully you will be staying in the garden or or the terrace enjoying the good weather the largest part of the time anyhow) is located in the 'villa' part of town, next to the historical quarter of Menton. Looking at the left you will see the gorgeous coastline of Italy, looking to the right you see the postcard image of the old town. Incredible the waking up -having slept with the gardens doors open- seeing the Mediterranean straight from your bed. We had a nightingale singing in the olive tree in front of the house a few times. The setting is private (my opinion as a city person), even though apartment is located on the first floor of a villa and you are aware of each others existence. Friendly owner. The only minus I found (July 2010) was the length of the week rent: arrival on Saturday after six in the evening, and departure the next Saturday at ten in the morning (which didn't quite feel like a weeks rent). But all in all, looking back on a wonderful, romantic, laid back week, in the comfort of modern village city life (shops, transport etc), but at the same time with enough privacy away from it all to get really well rested.

Panorama magnifique

Vacances très agréables dans un cadre pittoresque, studio dans son jus années 70 mais propreté impeccable. Si on devait faire une petite critique : faire une vraie douche et supprimer la baignoire sabot. Ajouter peut être un micro onde .

Très agréable séjour à Menton. Accueil chaleureux et personnalisé de Marie-Noëlle. Logement très propre et fonctionnel avec vu imprenable sur la mer. Jardin très agréable pour vivre dehors et profiter pleinement du cadre idylique. Accès facile au centre ville. en een en 10 minutes à pieds.

Magnifique vue

Appartement conforme à la description de l’annonce. Le principal atout de cette location est le petit jardin qui offre une vue magnifique sur la mer et le vieux Menton. La propriétaire est très prévenante.

VUE EXCEPTIONNELLE

Petit studio fonctionnel à proximité des ruelles médiévales de Menton avec une vue imprenable sur la côte italienne, les ports de Garavan et Menton et l'Eglise ST Michel. Pas besoin de la voiture pour se rendre au centre de Menton ou au bord de mer. De plus, cet appartement bénéficie d'un garage à proximité pouvant accueillir de grosses berlines.

Sympathiques vacances à Menton

Nous avons séjourné une semaine avec notre petit d un an et demi chez Marie-Noëlle et vraiment nous recommandons cette location. Elle est très bien située et offre un panorama magnifique. Nous avons passé d excellents moments avec Marie-Noëlle et son fils et avons apprécié leurs conseils. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir lors de notre prochaine visite dans la région.

Vorsicht!!! Baustellenlärm

Die Ferienwohnung hat einen schönen Garten und eine nicht ganz so gute Aussicht wie auf den (veralteten) Bildern dargestellt. Der Rasen darf nicht genutzt werden. Ruhe kehrt erst um 18.00 Uhr ein, da von 7.00 bis 18.00 Uhr einem der Baustellenlärm in unmittelbarer Nähe den Schlaf und die Erholung raubt. Die Wohung ist sehr klein (max. 30 m²) und mit Kind auf keinen Fall zu empfehlen. Bei dem Bad handelt es sich um ein sehr enges WC ohne Fenster und Lüftung mit Waschbecken und Dusche. Zu den Restaurants, Läden und dem Strand ist es zu Fuss zu weit, ein Fahrzeug wird benötigt. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht und die Vermieterin war auch nicht bereit uns für den Baustellenlärm mit einem Nachlass zu entschädigen. Wir empfehlen diese Ferienwohnung nicht!!!

un endroit ideal pour se ressourcer

si vous cherchez un endroit pour vous detendre, prendre le petit dejeuner face à la mer, decouvrir une region riche en couleur et en relief, venez deposer vos valises dans cette petite location où il est tres agreable de se poser sans avoir nullement besoin de verifier l'etat de propreté ! c'est tout simplement nickel !! n'hesitez pas vous ne le regretterez pas

Petit paradis

Très bien située, facile d'accès, charmante, propre et fonctionnelle, présentant un superbe panorama, cette location bénéficie également de l'accueil chaleureux, de la disponibilité et de l'attention de sa propriétaire. Ce petit appartement apporte calme, repos et sérénité au locataire. Menton est par ailleurs une petite ville à découvrir absolument. "Two thumbs up"!

Inoubiliable séjour

Accueil très chaleureux avec conseils pour les visites, propreté exemplaire jamais vue dans une location, une vue extraordinaire sur toute la baie et tout cela au calme, beaucoup de choses à visiter, idéal quand on aime aussi autre chose que la plage...
