Great cabin for a couple to relax
I think the cabin is good for a couple to spend a few days. The location was very good. Close to downtown Gatlinburg.
My only complaint was the pillows, not very comfortable. Should consider replacing them.
This is a cabin on a street with a lot of other honey moon cabins. We were not bothered by that. It is very close to Gatlinburg which we visited along with Cade's Cove and Cataloochee. Gatlinburg is one long strip with restaurants, shops, and plenty to do. Cade's Cove is a good place to go hiking and see a bear. Cataloochee is a good place to go hiking and see elk. We slept pretty well here and appreciated the pull down window coverings which allowed for complete darkness. The hot tub in the living room is probably the best thing about the place! We might suggest a grill and to chop down some of the trees across the road which are obstructing the mountain view. Also the bathroom sink in our unit 6 needs a new stopper and a new toilet seat. The high ceilings would be much more beautiful without the cob webs that were seen while laying in the upstairs loft. I had to sleep in complete darkness in order to not see them. Overall the place was clean. I would also suggest if you like more than one pillow bring your own because there are only two. Overall nice place.
I am Brent , the owner of the cabins. I am very sorry about the cobwebs in the ceiling. We have to depend on contract cleaners to do a good job. Evidently they did not in #6. The toilet seat has been replaced and a new stopper for the sink. I really appreciate your feedback. Without folks like you we would not be aware of our mistakes. Thanks so much
Small and Simple
We booked this cabin last minute, and everything went smoothly. Directions were easy to follow and the cabin was clean. Although some of the outlets don't work and it's 80s decor, it does the job for a stay in the Smokies. Thanks for a good weekend.
Great Cozy Little Cabin
Me and my husband spent a few days in this cabin to enjoy the fall leaf colors. We really enjoyed our stay. Nice and cozy. Very clean and all amenities worked perfectly. Coming back next fall. Melissa
DATED AND DISAPOINTING CABIN
If you're a fan of the 80's, this one is for you!!! Good water pressure, BUT black mold on shower ceiling. Commode seat cigarette burned and stained, NOT a queen size bed, Smelly old or second hand sofa. Went and bought air fresheners and plug-ins while there, if that tells you anything else. Major updates needed.Have rented cabins before(from other sources) and wish we had stuck with what we knew. Have never stayed anywhere that I did not relax and enjoy and dread returning to after a day out. Thank goodness it was only two nights ! "READY TO GO HOME" IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT !!
The perfect getaway cabin
This place was the first cabin experience my boyfriend and I have had. The place was very clean and there were no bugs! That was my biggest thing was that there weren't any creepy crawlers. We loved the jacuzzi and thought it was so much fun to have it in the location that it is in (in the living room). We spent our mornings and evenings relaxing in the warm water while watching movies. Such a smart idea! The porch was very relaxing, but there is not much of a view. There is only space for one car to park, but with such a small place that was not an issue for us. One thing we would change was to have more towels and wash rags, there was only one set for the shower and one for the jacuzzi.
This was the perfect weekend for us to get away from reality. The place was well-maintained and very close to downtown Gatlinburg. Would certainly recommend it for anyone looking to have a quiet weekend!
Thanks for a great weekend!
