Bronze Tree is one of the premier properties on Steamboat Mountain--with ski in/walk out access to the ski slopes, FREE underground parking garage, the only indoor pool in the area, and access to both indoor and outdoor hot tubs FROM INSIDE THE BUILDING (no walking around outside in the snow in your boots and a towel!)

Additional amenities that make Bronze Tree such a desirable property include complementary laundry rooms inside the building, free high-speed internet in each unit, and a free local shuttle during the ski season. The shuttle is operated by Mountain Resorts, but funded by the condo owners association and so is available for your use regardless of whether you rent directly from Mountain Resorts. A rental car is really unnecessary during ski season.

Our unit is on the first floor of the building, with a spacious patio and views of the mountain. The unit is quiet, at the end of the hallway, but on the same floor as the entrance to the pool/hot tubs/sauna. Your private ski storage locker is on the next floor down. Out the door, down the stairs and across the street--you’re on the mountain! Ski in on the private trail and take off your skis at the door. We have wonderful access for a quick lunch or a break.

If you are unfamiliar with the Bronze Tree condos, these are among the largest two-bedroom units in Steamboat, having a two-master-suite setup. One bedroom has a king bed with in-room access to a full bath, as well as an additional in-room vanity and sink. The other bedroom is a hotel-style two-queen room, with ample room for the two queen beds and an in-room full bath. (Contrast this with the second bedroom in many condos that is approximately the size of a walk-in closet!) This condo has bed space for six without use of a pull-out couch.

We purchased our unit in 2014 and it was advertised to us as a “platinum rated” unit. We have been spending our time upgrading it further. The condo has solid countertops in the kitchen and bath and refinished kitchen cabinets. Floors in the entry and baths are slate. The beds have comfortable mattresses and are made up with 600-thread-count linens and Down Alternative comforters (for those of you allergic to feathers). The unit has a gas fireplace in the living room, and flat screen TVs in both bedrooms and the living room. We visit the condo often from our Denver home, and want to make it a comfortable and welcoming retreat. We would love to share our little piece of Steamboat paradise with you.

We are truly enjoying our ownership of Bronze Tree 106. We've visited in all seasons--enjoying everything from a terrific snowstorm that caused us to stay an extra night because Rabbit Ears was borderline impassible, to summer evenings on the patio watching the hummingbirds' acrobatics. We've added some new furniture this year, refinished the fireplace and added dry-stacked stone facing to the counter wall. We've shared the condo with some great people, and we're looking forward to another great ski season!

Why Ton or Lisa chose Northwest

We have stayed in many condominiums at Steamboat, but Bronze Tree was always our favorite. We love the ease of getting on and off the ski mountain (including for hiking/biking in the summer), the indoor pool, sauna and hot tub, the concrete construction that makes the condo so quiet, and the walking distance to the restaurants, bars and shops in Gondola Square. We looked at a lot of units when we decided to buy, but could never find another condo complex that we liked as well.

Perfect Location! Perfect Condo!

I could not stop staring at the beautiful view of the mountain from the kitchen and den sliding glass door! The open layout allowed us to enjoy watching the skiers come down the mountain from the warmth of the fireplace in the den or even while I was cooking in the kitchen! It was so very peaceful with the beautiful fresh snow. Our adult family of 6 was more than comfortable in Ton and Lisa's condo. They have stocked the unit with everything you need, blankets, pillows, hair dryers, humidifiers. They thought of everything! This was our first ski-in and we were not disappointed. We could ski right to the bottom of our balcony! A short walk in through the lockers to drop off equipment (the first floor is the way to go!) and the kids were in the condo for lunch and dinner. We had a short walk to the slopes in front of the condo where we would ski down to the base and catch the Gondola. So easy! We will definitely be back!

Perfect Summer Vacation Condo in Steamboat

Our family of 4 enjoyed a wonderful week at Ton and Lisa's condo in Steamboat this summer. The condo is just a short walk from the ski village, with fantastic views of both Mt. Werner and Emerald Mountain. It was the perfect jumping off point for all of our hiking, biking and sightseeing. The condo has a lovely patio area for relaxing in the mornings and evenings, which makes the condo feel even more like a home. We also loved having covered parking to protect our car and mountain bikes. We loved having access to two hot tubs (one with a view of the mountain) and the kids especially loved daily swims in the indoor pool. The condo itself is spacious, beautifully decorated and well-appointed in every respect. Finally, Ton and Lisa went the extra mile to make this vacation so incredible by accommodating all of our last minute booking requests. We can't wait to return, perhaps this time in the winter!

A wonderful and white Christmas/NYE celebration

Steamboat is one of my family's favorite ski destinations, and we find this condo to be a wonderful place to stay when visiting. We find the location of the unit in the building to be quiet and since it is located on the first floor it is convenient to the common area washer/dryer, ski lockers, pool and spa. The owners are thoughtful and conscientious providing a nicely appointed condo. The owners are also easy to work with and respond to questions/emails usually within the same day. We had a wonderful Christmas/NYE celebration on the mountain and can't wait to return again. Thank you for letting us stay in your condo. We had a great vacation :-)

Terrific Location on the Mountain!

My family and I loved this condo. It is in a great location and was less expensive than the Torian Plum/Creekside located just down the road. The condo is nicely appointed. The master has a king bed and the the second bedroom is very large, and has two queens. It is a corner unit on a low floor. We were all very comfortable. The sliding glass doors open to a patio instead of a balcony. We were not able to park in the garage, our truck was over the maximum height. The free shuttle service was great, and very quick to and from the base of the mountain. During our stay (end of March/early April) there wasn't enough snow to easily get to the mountain directly out of the condo, so we opted for the free shuttle. The owners are really easy to work with and very helpful. We have already booked a return trip for next year :-)

Great Slopeside Location

A great ski-in/walk-out. Short walk to slope, then ski right to the Christie Peak Lift or Gondola. The shuttle service to Gondola Square was very easy, too. Convenient ski locker on the ground level. Easy walk to restaurants and shops. Nicely updated, roomy unit with large second BR. The corner location was quiet. We enjoyed the outdoor hot tub. We didn't use the parking garage because we had a ski bubble on top of our van and it wouldn't clear the low ceiling.

The owners were very easy to work with and provided good recommendations for dining - we will definitely be back!
