About this property

VILLA VALHALLA UNIT #11 - extensive renovations have been made to both the building and our condominium unit. (Elevator, new stairways, exterior finish and in our unit we have redone the kitchen, living and dining room as well as installing a beautiful corner gas fireplace.) Our unit also has a dedicated private parking space located at the entrance to our unit.

LOCATION - LOCATION - LOCATION...We are located in the center of Vail Village, less than 5 minutes walking to Gondola One! Also, the shuttle stop is just at the corner of the street should you want to head over to Lionshead or other areas in the Vail area.

Our unit is just below the historic Christiania Hotel. They conveniently provide a front office for check-in, daily housekeeping, and concierge service during your stay in Vail. You will have a kitchen with essential items to cook your own meals - or it is an easy walk to multiple excellent restaurants in the core of Vail Village.

The ground-floor unit also has a sleeping den with a set of bunk beds. The bunk beds are 75' long x 35" wide - slightly narrower than a standard twin bed (38-39" wide) but the same length.

This is accessible through the unit as well as through an outside sliding door that leads directly to the swimming pool. The pool is heated to 100 degrees in the winter and 88 degrees in the summer.

Very few VRBO units provide all the amenities listed above - at a very reasonable price.

This is the ideal vacation rental for a couple with two children.

Perfect Vail village location

Clean and tidy condo with short walking distance to gondola 1 and shops/restaurants in Vail village. It's small, especially with oversized furniture, but has everything you need for a cozy family of 4 vacation. Tiny updated kitchen is fully stocked and so does the single updated bathroom. First floor so windows to the quiet street. Parking at the entrance is a great plus. Will be back.

Great location.

It was my husband and 2 children ( 9 and 11) staying at the condo and our second time here. It was a short walk (under 5 minutes) to the kids ski school at Golden Peak. The heated pool was great after a long day of skiing. The bedrooms are tight and not a lot of room to get changed in, but still manageable. I wished there was at least one smaller pot but pretty stocked otherwise. Bring quarters if you want to do laundry. ($2.50 to wash and dry one load). I was able to get some quarters at the Christie’s front desk. It might be time to change the lampshades out as some are looking a bit out of date. Overall, a great place and would come back.

Great location but needs some work

Unit is a very short distance to the gondola which is great. However it does need some updating for its price. Also, there is too much furniture in the small space. Bedroom is right next to the parking lot and the headlights shine right into the bed (needs black out curtains at least).

Comfortable Spot Close to Vail Village

This was a great little spot for my family to stay while we were attending Oktoberfest in Vail Village. The location was perfect, close to all the restaurants and shops but far enough away to still be quiet. The beds were very comfortable and my boys loved the little bunk room. The heated pool was fun for the kiddos to enjoy each afternoon and easy to access through the back door. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. The only downside is that unit is advertised to fit 5 but we didn't find a pull out or air mattress or anything for the 5th person. Luckily it was my 8 year old daughter who slept in the king bed with us or on the couch with a spare blanket.

One of my favorite spots in Vail!

This condo was exactly like it was pictured and was incredibly clean. The kitchen was fully stocked, the king bed has a great mattress and the shower is really nice! The check in and out process was incredibly easy and the pool is great to sit by. You really can’t beat the location being in the village and we genuinely loved staying here. We hope we can come back one day!! Thanks for everything :)

Perfect Location with a Great Pool after a day on the slops!

This was the perfect ski getaway for our family. The bunk area was great for our young kids giving us the extra space beyond the 1 bedroom we needed. The location was perfect with walking access to the village, kids ski school and main lifts for a day on the slopes. The heated pool really topped off the amenities and was a favorite for the family after a day of skiing.

1st family ski trip at Vail

Good location. Easy check in and check out. Weston (property manager) very responsive A++++. The problem we had with the condo cleanliness. Seeing dirty carpets (crumbs, quarter of the cookie), dirty dresser's top makes you think if the condo was cleaned/prepared to help reduce the spread of COVID-19.

Perfect Spring Break getaway!

This property is exactly what it looks like online. It was perfect for my family of 4. We parked our car in the parking spot that is located directly in front of the condo and didn’t move it until the day we left! You can walk everywhere and the Gondola is a short walk! We can’t wait to come back!

Great location! The hot pool was an excellent end to our day of skiing. Our kids loved the bunk beds and the king size bed was very comfortable. We had all we needed. This place was definitely a win with my family!

Couple’s Ski Trip

Vail is unkind to those traveling on a reasonable budget. If spending thousands per night is not your thing too, this is an excellent option. The unit is clean and cozy and well-appointed. We were also pleased with the kitchen and cookware, as we stayed in a couple cold, snowy nights. And the very short walk to the gondola and village helped make this condo a very good value.

Great place to stay in Vail! Very short walk into town center. Property has been updated so shower is all new tile, etc. Someone even came in to make the beds and pick up after us. Very comfortable and cozy.

My wife and I are the owners of the property. Our son, Weston is managing the rentals in conjunction with the Christiania Hotel and Destinations Resorts. He is in dental school in Denver at the U of Colorado.

We live in Fort Collins which is an hour north of Denver. I am a retired family physician. We enjoy using the condo year round when not rented.
