3 Bed, 3 Bath Cabin Near Blue Ridge With Panoramic Mountain Views

Eagle's View gets it's name because it is literally at the top of the mountain with spectacular, vast, long range mountain views that will take your breath away. The cabin creates a cozy, laid back atmosphere, bringing rustic and contemporary creature comforts together with all wood walls and a homey cabin feeling.

Enjoy a relaxing meal on the large deck with picnic table, unwind with a book on the porch swing, grill a nice dinner and then savor a glass of wine and a long soak in the hot tub.

On a cool evening enjoy a fire in the wood burning river stone fire place while curled up on the sumptuous leather sofa under a warm throw to watch a DVD from the expansive library, on the large flat screen TV or watch the satellite TV selection.

Everyone will enjoy the combination pool/ping pong table, Wii, board games and darts in the basement game room. You may choose to roast some hotdogs or make s'mores in the natural stone fire pit while watching for shooting stars.

Later in the in the evening retire to the king master bedroom with a comfortable memory foam mattress then step out onto your own private balcony or stay inside and watch the flat screen TV. Each bedroom including the queen bedroom upstairs and queen bedroom suite on the main floor has a modern feeling with contemporary furniture and comfortable memory foam mattresses.

About Suzan Naar

We live in Woodstock and have very busy jobs along with a fast paced lifestyle. We wanted a place to get away, relax, yet be able to get work done if necessary. It is great to have a place that seems so far from our city life yet it is so close to Atlanta. We love the change of seasons, mountain views and many activities Blue Ridge provides.

Suzan Naar purchased this cabin in 2014

Why Suzan Naar chose Blue Ridge

The moment we saw the view we knew this was the home we wanted. This cabin home has been completely remodeled to create a cozy yet contemporary comfortable feel. We loved the tongue and groove wood throughout and the porch. The home needed extensive renovation but we were willing to do it because of the location and the view. The bathrooms and kitchen have new custom tile and glass tile showers and countertops, the basement was finished and a bathroom added. All new appliances, light fixtures, window coverings, custom kitchen cabinets.

This home is our luxury vacation home with all the indulgences we could ever want. The town of Blue Ridge has so much to offer shopping, amazing restaurants, theatre, music, festivals, and art.

What makes this cabin unique

Eagle's View is literally far above other Blue Ridge cabin rentals. Climb the steep roads to the top of the mountain and you will complete your adventure to see where Eagle's View gets it’s name. A cozy all wood cabin both rustic and contemporary.

Beautiful cabin, unbelievable views, well stocked kitchen

  • 5 of 5

We loved the comfort of the beds in every room, the game tables, books, and almost any staple you might need in the kitchen in case you forget something. Would love to stay again!! BTW, the drive was easily done in our minivan and our daughters Nissan Versa. No trouble at all.

Great view

  • 4 of 5

The view from the back porch is awesome and if that's mainly what you are looking for than this cabin is suitable for the price point. Beyond the view, the cabin itself is lacking of quality and space, the pictures definitely portray the living area to be bigger than it actually is. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need and the cabin itself was clean upon arrival. The stairs leading upstairs as well as the ones leading to the lower level are extremely sketchy, so if you are elderly or have knee or back issues please keep that in mind. The drive up wasn't too bad, it rained our entire stay and the roads held up. I do highly recommend 4WD or AWD. Overall, I probably wouldn't come back to this particular cabin because of the layout but for a quick weekend getaway it isn't bad and I don't regret it. The rental agency is very friendly and helpful

Great views - wonderful house if you simply want to stay there for your vacation

  • 5 of 5

We have spent many long weekends in Blue Ridge. I'm giving this a 5 star rating since the owners were very responsive and the house was very clean and as described. However, if you want to go for a long weekend and spend more time in Blue Ridge, this is not the house for you, since you will be over 35 minutes from town. If you truly want a relaxing weekend where you see no people and are on top of the world, this is your house. We read the reviews warning of the steep drive. Having grown up in the mountains of WVa and being an owner of an AWD Volvo SUV, I did not think twice about the warnings of steep driving conditions. It had rained 5 days before our arrival and unfortunately, our car did not make the steep incline. Luckily we have 3 teenagers who made 4 round trip treks up the last 300 yards carrying luggage, coolers and more. The second day, we ventured to the swinging bridge for a hike (again over 40 minutes in the car each way) and upon our return we were barely able to make the incline. If you are taking the "alternate route" as soon as you turn the last 90 degree turn, you will pass a red house on the right after 40 yards. At that point, put the "pedal to the metal". We made the hill on the final run, again, barely. This is also a single lane mountain road that will take 10 + minutes to traverse. I recommend a 4WD if there are wet or snowy conditions. We were a family of 5 and there are only four dining spots at the dining table inside the house with not bar stools to add. This is also another consideration if you are looking for relaxing dinners. Unfortunately, it was too cold and rainy to enjoy the outside dining area which can accommodate six diners.

One of The most lovely places I have been in a long time. It was hard the first time to get up the mountain but after you go up and down it a couple times it’s not as bad. The sight from the porch was million-dollar view. The owner was incredibly kind and helped us with whatever we needed. We will be booking this cabin again.

Wonderful cabin with promised views!

  • 5 of 5

Amazing! Including the promised views of the mountains. At one point we were able to view 4 ridge lines. The cabin faces North so the sunrises & sunsets were both visible and very beautiful.

The VRBO charge was a little high.

Surpassed Expectations

  • 5 of 5

We were a bit nervous about our drive as it is situated very high up on a mountain, however, having a 4x4 made the drive relatively simple. The moment we arrived at Eagle's View we were very pleased of the location and the cabin itself. The description of this place surpassed our expectations to the point we have not stopped telling our friends/family about why they need to hurry up and book this place before there's no availability #eaglesviewrocks.
