About the property

Just down the road from Stowe's famed Trapp Family Lodge you will find this one of a kind large family home. Designed for family reunions, this eight bedroom, nine and a half bath house can sleep up to twenty-five people. The great room has a gas fireplace, flat screen TV, cathedral ceilings and a beautiful view looking out onto the deck, as well as a dining area with a ten foot farmhouse table. The gourmet kitchen has a large breakfast bar, granite counters and a six burner gas range. The open floorplan is ideal for gathering family and friends together. Off the great room, on the main floor there are 4 bedrooms, 2 on either side of the house, each with their own attached full bath. There is also a 3/4 bath on this floor. Upstairs there are two large bedrooms each with a private full bath, one with TV. Each bedroom has it's own bath and an extra bed for the kids. The upstairs balcony looks out over the great room and has a TV and provides an extra conversation area. The lower level was built just for kids! It has a game room with a 60" large screen TV, pool table and ping pong. There are also two bedrooms with two sets of bunk beds and a single, each with a three quarter bath. Entering the lower level there is a large tiled mud room with storage space for all your gear, as well as a convenient laundry room. This house was designed for fun, casual , family reunions any time of the year. Only Stowe Vermont combines a classic 200-year-old village with Mt. Mansfield, Vermont's highest peak.
