Fabulous studio type on the bottom of a beautiful Victorian. I

  • 5 of 5

Would absolutely recommend. I rented this for my older parents with the rest of the family in the Victorian above. The studio is immaculately clean with a comfortable bed and a couch facing a nice TV. This kitchen area is truly usable with full sized appliances and a nice table for eating. The room is bright, great outside landscaping and the area quiet. Easy walking distance to one of the "coolest" streets in Portland, per my college age daughter.

I will happily stay here if through Portland in need of a place for one or two.

Great location and very cozy.

  • 5 of 5

I stayed here after a 5 hour drive bringing a Foster Dog to his new forever family.

The location is perfect, it was clean and cozy, had all you would need, lovely place, nicely priced. Easy walk to small grocery stores and shops, felt very safe, lots of restaurants and cafes very close . Directions for the TV and heat/air were greatly appreciated.

Will stay here again without question if I am back in the area.

Perfect for my husband and me!

  • 5 of 5

It was a great location and the perfect studio for my husband and I, with everything we needed. Not to mention Salt and Straw was so close! Luckily, we were always able to find parking even when we got back late from dinners with our friends. Becky was also very quick to respond to any questions I had. I would definitely stay here again the next time we’re in Portland.

Perfect Location

  • 4 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay and the location was so walkable to great restaurants.

The bed was amazingly comfortable. Very nice accommodations.

If someone is staying in the unit above, you can hear a lot of walking and talking. This is not a problem during the day but if you need to get to bed and they stay up late it’s hard to fall asleep, or if they are up in the middle of the night for an extended period.

The lock was a little tricky to operate.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your review! We have found a contractor who will be doing some soundproofing to the ceiling of this studio at end of February 2017. This should help with the noise above and make it much quieter! Becky

Perfect Location

  • 5 of 5

This was a perfect location as well as a perfect setup for two that needed a quick getaway.

We very much appreciated the quite and safe feeling of the street (although parking can be tricky) and the easy access to all of what Portland has to offer!

Very nice studio in lovely area.

  • 4 of 5

The studio under the charming Victorian home is a pleasant place to stay. The host has provided everything you need in the kitchen area for cooking your own meals and even offers soaps and shampoo for your use. The bed was comfortable. The Internet worked fine and the heating system did as well. My only frustration was the creaky floor above. The people staying in the Victorian home about the studio were up a lot during the nights we were here and although they were not loud neighbors, the older flooring was extremely creaky. The general neighborhood was lovely and I encourage you to walk to the Dragonfly Coffee House near by.
