Ideally located, this house is located close to and above the river Ardeche. It includes a large living room/kitchen which open to the countryside via a large bay window, a mezzanine (1.50 m high)with two beds, a spacious bedroom and a bathroom with a shower and toilet.
The owners live in a separate building located 15 meters from the house. There a magnificent views of the Ardeche and easy access to the river for bathing is a few minutes away.
You can pick rosemary, sage and thyme in the garden! The accommodation is unsuitable for young children. The owner lives on the site.
If you want to go down the Ardèche by canoe, consider renting from Saint Martin, (Patou boat 06 50 84 31 06 or the bridge boats 04 75 04 60 85) this will save you 70 km by car...!

beautiful!

Coming from Germany, we enjoyed beautiful warm days in the south of France. with 4 Persons we had plenty of space and a view and access to the river Ardeche that made as feel confortable and welcome. Insíde and outside it is beautiful space to see the nature, to relax and to eat outside or inside. Before our stay and during it, we always had very pleasant contact with the owners, M. et Mme de Charantenay, who are very fine and cooperative. Thank you a lot!

Wir - zu zweit - hatten sehr nette Gastgeber, die uns jeden Wunsch erfüllt haben. Im Garten duftet es herrlich nach Kräutern. Das Schlafzimmer war sehr geräumig mit sehr guter Matratze. Das Wohn- und Esszimmer ist nett und geschmackvoll möbliert und die Küchenzeile weist alle zur Speisezubereitung erforderlichen Geräte und Utensilien auf. Die Ferienwohnung liegt in einem separaten Kleinen Haus neben dem Haus der Vermieterin am Hang der Ardèche-Schlucht im Weiler Sauze des Dorfes St. Martin d'Ardèche. Die Wohnlage ist sehr ruhig. Es ist kein Verkehrslärm zu hören, obwohl die Autostraße durch die Schlucht nicht fern liegt. Das Flussufer ist nur wenige Meter entfernt. Auf idyllischem Uferweg ist das Dorf zu Fuss in ca. 20 Minuten zu erreichen.

Un petit paradis sur terre

Merci a Micheline et Emmanuel pour leur accueil, leur discrétion et leur gentillesse. La location est bien située pour profiter pleinement des grottes, du canoë, de baignades avec une randonnée au départ de la maison. La vue est magnifique.La maison offre tout le confort nécessaire. Ein wunderschönes Haus in herrlicher Lage. Die Vermieter sind sehr warmherzig, großzügig und hilfsbereit. Wir haben einen traumhaften Urlaub verbracht und hoffen auf eine Gelegenheit, wiederzukommen. Heerlijk huisje op steenworp afstand van de Ardeche!

Wij waren met onze twee kinderen (8 en 10) een week in het huisje. Het is echt een heerlijk plekje met prachtig uitzicht op de Ardeche, veel privacy en een fijne tuin. Op de foto's staat de patio, maar er is verder nog volop ruimte om het huis met schaduwrijke bomen waar je lekker op je ligbed een boekje kunt lezen. Je merkt dat de eigenaren met aandacht het huis gemaakt en ingericht hebben.

Wunderbares Haus in perfekter Lage

ein sehr stilvoll eingerichtes Haus mit sehr guter Ausstattung nur 2 Min.vom Badeplatz am Fluss entfernt. Obwohl man St.Martin d ´ardèche zu Fuß erreichen kann liegt es ruhig und idylisch mit Blick auf die Schlucht und auf das schönste Dorf der Ardèche. wir haben einen fantastischen Urlaub genossen. Die Vermieter sind charmant und äußerst zugewand, aber dabei diskret.

Geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Apartment in ruhiger Lage, trotzdem nah am Strand der Ardeche zum Baden

Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt in diesem schön eingerichteten Apartment. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Lage ist phantastisch. Man kann Ausflüge in unterschiedliche Richtungen machen, in den Süden nach Nimes oder den Pont du Gard, in den Südosten nach Avignon, in den Norden ins Rhonetal oder in den Nord-westen in die Gorges des Ardeches. Der Strand ist außderdem ganz nah und man kann wunderbar im Fluss baden. Unsere Gastgeber waren überaus freundlich. Großes Kompliment! Matthias und Birgit

Maison très agréable, beaucoup de soleil et une belle nature

Nous avons passés un très beau séjour dans cette confortable maison de vacances. Toutes commerces sont assez proches. On peut acheter les baguettes et croissants pour le petit déjeuner en roulant avec la bicyclette au village de St Martin d'Ardèche. Tout d'abord on peut vraiment profiter de la nature, de l'Ardèche et du vin de la region. Un séjour parfait. Merci beaucoup!!

Wie man es sich wünscht / C´était magnifique!

Aus diesem Kleinod wollten wir gar nicht mehr ausziehen. Der unverbaubare Blick auf die Hänge der Ardeche durch die riesigen Glasschiebetüren gab uns schon am frühen Morgen das Gefühl, am richtigen Ort zu sein. Vor allen Dingen möchte ich die angenehme, herzliche und doch dezente Art unserer liebenswürdigen Gastgeber Micheline und Emmanuel de Charentenay hervorheben. Ein Ort für alle (Kinder und Erwachsene), die die Ardeche erleben wollen.
