Welcome to Big Sky Lodge. This 5000 Sq. Ft. Home has seven bedrooms plus five and a half baths.This gorgeous expansive home also has a game room and an eight person hot tub.This property backs up to miles of national forest. The home is in Blue River, a seven minute drive from the heart of Breckenridge. The views from this home are unprecedented.The huge windows in the home look upon the Continental Divide and the 14,000 ft. Quandary Mountain. The views and beauty of nature are even better from the eight person hot tub on the sunny wrap around deck.

Enjoy seclusion and easy access to summer and winter activities here at Big Sky.

All pets are welcome here. The entire main level is tiled as well has offers a dog door and a fenced in yard.

Sleeping Arrangements: Top Level:#1 Master Bedroom has a King #2 Bedroom Two has a King Middle Floor: #3 Master Bedroom has a King #4 Bedroom has a Queen Bottom Floor: #5 Bedroom has a Queen #6 Bedroom has a Queen Captains Bunk ( Queen on bottom, Single on top). This room also has two additional single beds and a Queen trundle that is underneath the Queen Captains bunk. #7 Bedroom has a Queen, There is a Queen Sleeper Sofa in the Living Area. As with all our homes four wheel drive is needed as this applies to all of Breckenridge, even downtown. One of bedrooms located behind game room does not have a door due to county rules.

Beautiful home with a few flaws

POSITIVES: Our stay at this home in Breck was a great turnout. Home was clean when we arrived and we checked in 3 hours early without a problem. The beds are very comfortable and the layout was great. There were plenty of extra blankets and pillows as well as nice bedding on all of the beds. The photos definitely do the house justice as far as appearance and cleanliness. The view is amazing and the snow made it that much better. The hot tub worked great and heated and cooled quickly. This was nice for our group because we had young children who needed lower temps during the day and we would crank the heat back up in the evenings.

NEGATIVES: The lack of cooking utensils effected us a little bit. The house was stocked with spices but there wasn't a sharp knife to be found. This made it a little tough considering we cooked 2 meals a day and the closest stores are 6 miles away. We managed but it would have been nice to have for the price we paid. There were also a lot of old, rusted pans in the cabinets that should probably be thrown away and some of the drawers in the kitchen are busted. We had to go to town for trash bags to clean up after ourselves the second day (a house that sleeps 20 people you'd think would have trash bags). We did leave a couple of boxes of trash bags for the next guests. There also wasn't a welcome folder/brochure or any kind of info on the home which we found a little strange.

The biggest disappointment of the weekend was the lack of communication between myself and the property management company at the end of our trip. We stayed the weekend of April 6th and experienced a lot of snow. We lost power at about 4am and never got it back before leaving at noon (we we're planning on leaving at 10am which is check out time but we couldn't get out of the driveway until the plows came around 11:30). Between the time we woke up and leaving at noon I attempted multiple times to contact our property manager via text and phone to see if there was a back up generator or if and when the plows would come. I still haven't heard back from anyone. We didn't have water or power for nearly half a day. We couldn't do dishes, shower, use the bathrooms (well..flush the toilets) or turn the heat on during this time. Luckily the home kept warm pretty well and we had access to the fire place because it runs on gas. A welcome manual would have come in handy for these issues. It also would have been nice to be acknowledged for our inconvenience.

Everything we needed for an awesome trip!

Owner/manager was very responsive to questions and concerns. House was beautiful with amazing views and a short commute to town. Plenty of space for 18 adults. Hot tub was clean and serviced a couple times during our weeklong stay. Kitchen was fully stocked, I recommend guests check the inventory of spices and such prior to grocery shopping.

Amazing!

This house has absolutely everything you could need! Pictures do not do the view from the balcony justice, amazing! We had a group of 13 people and never felt crowded at all. Car ride into Breckinridge downtown took maybe 10 minutes. Danny was very helpful and allowed us to stay later than check out time of 10 am. Would definitely stay here again if we choose to come back to Breckinridge next year!
