comfortable and convenient

A very nicely equipped and comfy apartment - good bed, excellent cooking utensils, and nice touches from the owner (electric adaptors, guide books and maps, umbrellas and a grocery cart).

Comfortable and nicely located apartment

The apartment is near the most important sites and close to excellent restaurants. We were able to communicate easily with the host, e.g., asking for the heat to be turned on. The big open market is just across the bridge, which made for wonderful food shopping. In all, a very nice place from which to explore Lyon. We enjoyed looking out the windows at the Saone and its boat traffic.

Great apartment

This large apartment is in a fabulous location along the river and in old town Lyon Very convenient to shopping, restaurants, bars, and many of the sights. The mattress is comfortable, the shower good, the kitchen is well-equipped. Clothide is great to deal with. She was very responsive to our pre-arrival inquiries. She met us at the apartment and explained things. We would stay there again.

Un séjour parfait avec une localisation extraordinaire

Nous sommes demeurés 8 jours, ce qui n’est pas trop pour découvrir cette magnifique ville.Il faut vraiment aller à l’Office de tourisme. L’appartement est très, très bien situé pour la visite à pied de plusieurs sites d’intérêt et l’offre commerciale est très intéressante tout autour (marché, épicerie, boulangerie). Les procédures d’arrivée et de départ ont été parfaites. Je reviendrais volontiers. Merci Clothilde.

Historic, central and comfortable

The apartment was perfect for our week in Lyon. We were charmed by the historic building as well as the immediate access to the old town and bridges to the business district. We loved relaxing in living room with a view of the river, and using the spacious kitchen. The comfortable bedroom was quiet in spite of this central location. Clear information is provided on using the space and the appliances. Host was amazingly responsive and helpful.

Schöne, zentrale, helle Wohnung

Schöner Aufenthalt, helles Wohnzimmer mit wunderschönem Blick auf die Saonne, fast alle Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreichbar, in allen Situationen freundliche Vermieterin. Voll ausgestattete Küche mit allen Utensilien und auch Kaffee,Tee, Nespresso, Essig Öl und die wichtigsten Gewürze.

Wonderful!

We enjoyed a wonderful visit to Lyon and loved coming home each night to a great bed and comfortable home, very complete for cooking but we preferred to indulge in the fabulous dining scene of Lyon. Our host was most helpful with guidance and counsel about the area. The flat was full of maps and resources to help us navigate this beautiful city. Location was perfect!

Perfect location, charming apartment

The apartment is located in the old Lyon, perfect location to explore all the parts of the city - to foot, with bike or with the metro. Is it located in an old building, with a very special inner yard. It has a lot of charme, but also means, that the bedroom window are located to the yard, thus pretty dark and noisy when the garbage cans are mooved. We also used the sofa bed in the living room, which was comfortable, but also there - since the living room is located towards the city - it is noisy. The apartment is overlooking the Saone river. Everything you need is in the little kitchen. Separate shower (tiny, but newly renewed and sufficient) and toilette. The entrance to the shower is from the bedroom. Nice towels and bedlinnen were provided. The apartment was very clean. For us the real problem was the check in. We would arrive very late and asked if a check in was possible, directly by booking. There was no answer for weeks. although we send another two messages. First the third enquire was answered, by that time it was to late to cancel. The owner however would wait for us at the arrival. We also had a problem by checking out, since we would stay in Lyon for a couple hours more, but we were not able to check out later or leave our bags somewehre. We also tried to contact Fewo Direct, but were stuck in the telephone queue forever, and couldn´t get through.

Fantastic apartment & great location

My husband and I stayed here for 3 weeks and enjoyed this beautiful apartment. It was very clean, has a well equipped kitchen for home cooking and is within walking distance of everything. Grocery store, bus stop, restaurants, and market are all within walking distance. The check in was fantastic, we were greeted by the host and given all the instructions and some wonderful suggestions! She also organized an early morning taxi for our departure. I would highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.

Vieux Lyon

Excellent location, daily food market just across the river, good bar, Les Berthom, on the next corner. Lyon Citycard is good value for public transport and museums. Parc Tete d'Or worth a visit.

Wonderful location

The apartment is in a wonderful location. Right there in Vieux Lyon and right on the river with a view out of the living room. Convenient to everything. Our host was very helpful and kind. The apartment worked out well for my friend and my stay. Good sized kitchen with everything we needed. 5 stars! Thank you Clothilde

Great Place to Stay in Old Lyon

Clothilde settled us in and organised a taxi for our departure.She was a thoughtful host. The apartment is close to restaurants, shops and historical sites. Highly recommended.

Spacious in a great location

This property is located in the old town so you can walk to shops, bakeries, bouchons and bars. Plus an easy walk across the bridge to Bellecour. The apartment’s living room is very spacious overlooking the river Saone. It’s clean and includes all the amenities needed for a week’s stay. I also hiked up to the Basilica Notre Dame de Fourvievre twice. Great hike, landmark and views.

Great Location, Comfortable and Clean

The apartment is in Vieux-Lyon, the old town, and has a great location on the river. There are many sights, shops, things to see, and great restaurants within a 4-minute walk. The Musee Beaux Arts, just across the river, has a gorgeous collection of the great masters and is a must see for art fans. The apartment is clean and comfortable. There is a business that shares the courtyard the bedroom is on, so that can create some noise, but the noise was occasional and didn't ultimately bother us. Everything worked. The shower was hot and had good flow. We even found some English language TV shows amongst the many stations on the television. Clothilde was pleasant and helpful. A great choice for value.

Fantastic location

Overlooking the Saône river in a central part of Lyon, this apartment was close to restaurants, public transport, a good baker and many attractions that one goes to Lyon to see. The apartment had everything that we needed for our 6 day stay. A washing machine, comfortable beds, a fully equipped kitchen that supplied, coffee, tea, & other basics like, oil vinegar, sugar etc.

Wonderful outlook

Clothilde's apartment was spacious and very comfortable and had a fully equipped kitchen. The main area looked out directly on the Saône River with its boat and barge traffic which was very interesting. The apartment was located in Vieux Lyon with all its food and hospitality offerings. We very much enjoyed staying there.

Great host, facilities, location

The apartment is in an ideal location for a short visit to Lyon, in the Vieux Lyon area and overlooking the river Saone. The charming owner, Clothilde, provided faultless directions and met us on arrival and departure. The rooms are spacious, elegant and well equipped. We would definitely choose to stay there if we visited Lyon again.

Heat and Noise

The apartment is in an amazing area of Lyon. So many Bouchons and bars only minutes walk away. However there is no cooling of any kind. If you’re coming during summer or Autumn be prepared to swelter. A few ceiling fans would’ve helped. The only other issue was noise. Tres noisey. You need to keep the windows open to keep cool but due to the noise unfortunately you can’t. A shame as the owner was fantastic but all it needs is cooling.
