Dear Levi, thanks for your positive comment. I don't understand though the comment regarding the fact that the apartment is located on the 1st floor. In the add we clearly state that "notre studio de 34 m² se trouve au 1er étage d'une résidence pourvue d'un ascenseur" (in French, which translates into "our studio of 34m² is located on the 1st floor of a residence with elevators"). We're interested to know where you may have seen on the website that the apartment was on the ground floor because we couldn't find that mistake anywhere.

Dear Sean, we feel your account of how things were handled isn’t quite fair, so we’ll take this opportunity to answer your comments here. You told us about the odor in the staircase only on your 6th day at the apartment, so very shortly before the end of your 1-week stay. We contacted immediately the other landlords in the residence so they could check, confirm and see how it could be addressed. As a result, a procedure was immediately launched to make someone come and solve it. But getting someone to intervene takes time, and you couldn’t possibly expect such an issue to be solved the same day. Also, it could have been fair to mention that the staircase is outside the apartment and nowhere inside the apartment or in the corridor outside the apartment could anyone smell anything. The inconvenience was restricted to the staircase in the common part of the residence, which you could have avoided by using the elevator. Finally, the apartment is on the 1st floor, which means it does not take more than a few seconds to get downstairs in the hallway. Claiming the smell in the staircase gave you all headaches seems rather extreme in this context. Regarding the Wifi signal, again: you told us the signal was weak only on the 6th day of your 1-week stay. The immediate action was to check with our service provider, and everything seemed fine. The time it took us to send someone to the apartment to gauge the speed of the connection, you had already left. Someone came nonetheless, and confirmed the connection was already pretty good already … but it was getting the signal from the apartment next door (as all apartments are on the same network, hence the same network name). It appeared someone had unplugged the box behind the TV set, so our own box didn’t emit any signal. We don’t know if you unplugged it or someone else did, but the result was the same: you shared the connection with the neighbors instead of using our own. Plugging the box again quickly resulting in the connection speed to increase, but again … even without it, the internet connection was already enough for several people to share (we tested it when unplugging our own box and could easily stream movies, watch online TV or have visio calls), and again … you spent the first 6 days without complaining about the internet connection, we don’t understand how you can be so harsh on your reviews for issues we had no clue about for almost your entire stay. We feel it really matters that you know that contrary to what you imply, we did take things seriously, reacted immediately, and are now left with invoices from the people who came to check these issues. We were still happy to learn that you were satisfied with the apartment itself and the resort.
